@ReloadXPsi People have every right to bitch about this game, especially the Nerd. No continues nor passwords, bullshit weaponry that requires a turbo button, map layout that makes weapons useless, slow movement that gets slower after taking hits and can't be restored, infinitely spawning frogs (frogs of all things) that drive you forever backwards while shooting fire at you, and a dick-ton of other crap. No manual could help you with these problems. I can't believe you're defending this game.

It annoys me when people bitch about twenty year-old games they probably paid like two **insert currency here** on account of it having no box or manual so they don't bother checking up on anything. Don't forget that in the NES days you did kinda have to read manuals for new games. You know, in the back of the car while you drove home with your new game. Honestly people :P

First time I had a big disagreement with James here on games. The Adams Family on the Mega Drive was one of my favourite games back in the day and I still play it now whenever I feel like playing a good old fashioned platformer. Sure it's easy to die, but it's also easy to get extra lives and you get more hearts for your life bar really easily so complaining about that is like complaining that it's easy to die in Zelda: LttP because you never collected any heart peices.

I know that, it's just seems like he's desperately trying to find reasons to hate that game and it comes across as really fake. Some of the levels he was showing himself dying in are quite far in, at which point he should have found at least 2 hearts by then... he's actively trying to make it look harder than it is, and that's just a cheap tactic. James is better than that, it's more what I'd expect from the Irate Gamer.

Every thirrty seconds, you are terminated and all it takes is two hits. It's easy to get two hits in any game but taking two hits and you're dead. I'm not playing. I have to disagree about the Addam's Family game for SNES. And it's obvious you didn't even try to play it. With certain bosses, you beat them and win more hearts. That way, you don't die after 2. The 'A' blocks at the start of each level: you go underneath it and jump up. It gives you a clue as to what lies ahead in the level. It's an awesome game and I finally beat it in my teen years. Give it another shot, James! A REAL ONE this time.
