He said he was on "I guess what would be called the second level" only to imply that he was somewhere after boss 1 and before boss 2. We all know there are technically no defined "levels" in Metroid games. It's just more meaningful than saying "I just passed that one blue guy".

it has no multiplayer. Don't like it? Too bad, Metroid series isn't about multiplayer and multiplayer doesn't even suit its atmosphere

imagine a multiplayer like in halo. that would be so awesome! like 16 ppl on a map and doing a deathmatch or ctf... that would be so cool

It might help you aim if you rested the wiimote on your lap. Much more stable and comfortable. Also, what sensitivity setting is the game on? Advanced might sound bad to one such as yourself, who is relatively new to the game, but it is very easy and incredibly effective. Great video though.
