  • We play this piece of music when we practice our Kunlun Dayan Qigong (Wild Goose Qigong) . This qigong form depict the geese from its' awakening, through the morning, noon, playing in the water, flying and landing, search for food, looking for nest and finally resting at the end of day. - Singapore.

  • I love this music very much. When were this song born? Who is the composer?

  • @SeikoBalint This music has about 400 years history, it has several versions so it is hard to tell who was the composer. 平沙落雁 means wild Geese Landing on the Sandy Beach, ancients used to use geese to express their ambition and heart...

  • I would love to know the title of this piece. Do you know the title? Also, what is the name of the instrument being used?

  • " wild geese align on the shore to rest"

  • Esta musica lleva a la meditación, al autoconocimiento y a plantearte que la vida es tan simple o tan complicada como la quieras ver. Gracias por el excelente aporte.

  • this music brings my heart, mind and soul peace. thankyou for this beautiful music...

  • This brought back so many memories. I struggled so much to learn this piece. So long ago. My music sheet has turned yellow. Who is the musician? He's awesome! His touch is so sure and so clean. My teacher told me it's written during the Ming Dynasty. It describes wild geese taking off, flying around, soaring, playing, calling to each other, diving, and finally landing on the sand banks.

  • I do love this melody; love guqin.

  • 美妙啊

  • masterful play!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice ,but we want understand the significate of the chinese words .

  • for past 300 years, this is the most famed music in china, there are over 50 versions of this music.

unlike other classical Chinese music, this one does not have a background story associated with this music.

first appeared in Ming dynasty, it's simple and easy to understand. it's a new style when it was performed back then.

  • 平沙落雁,the words means : the wild geese fall on the sand beach to have a rest.

  • Oh I like the tranquility and peacefulness of this typical musical instrument of our country. This calms you down. Though I know vey very little about music. Not bad to enjoy after a rushy day of hard work.

  • lol! why does this have two thumbs down. what does it say?

  • from what i can read i think it says something compared to something sounds better haha my chinese isn't so strong

  • It says that this tune sounds better as a duet with the XIAO flute and the GUQIN

  • It says 琴萧合奏的平沙落雁比较好听.
