Let's look at it this way: a Macbook Pro w 4GB of ram and an i5 processor will run Windows faster and smoother than a PC (Toshiba, HP, take your pick) with 8GB of ram and an i7 processor. When your doing the hud part, instead of going through all those files to get to the resource file type "%appdata%" to the search bar at the start menu (Windows, fuck Mac) then click "Roaming" then scroll down till you find Team Fortress 2, wallah... haha learnt that off installing mods for Minecraft xD
