The Emmys were great this year, the Oscars have a lot to live up to. have noticed that everyone at the Emmys seemed happy and smiling, you don't get that at the Oscars. If movie stars at the Academy Awards would learn to love life as much as TV actors, we'd have an eventful broadcast instead a comedian trying desperately to make people laugh who obviously don't want to be there for some reason. The producer for this years Emmys should produce the Oscars next year. :)

And with Melissa McCarthy, I was just saying people were being too politically correct, and the PC academy could not see it objectively. The walking up the stage, the tiara, the flowers, the whole thing was orchestrated by Amy and she informed all the other nominees about it and they were all on board. Amy pulled a similar stunt (though smaller scale and not as awesome as this one) at the Emmys in 2009 with the other comedy actresses. But yeah, love the women unit!

Melissa's win was made extra sweet having them all up there.  Amy is a genius & a generous performer. Even if she does not walk away with the trophy, she earns mad respect for getting all the nominees in the spotlight (with a standing ovation).

The 2nd best moment; Melissa & Amy presenting for lead actor in a miniseries. Their sarcastic banter about how "hard it is to be a man" was golden. Wish someone could scare up that clip & post it.
