  • Great video! So glad accutane worked for you. You remind me of Ben Stiller!

  • what a transformation..

  • i've been on it about one and a half months and im not getting any pimples or cysts anymore

but ive got these red fots from huge cysts i had.. but that takes longer time to heal...

but anyone who has acne GET ACCUTANE! This shit is for real... nothing is going to stop it like this. and it aint gonna come back!

  • This is so cool. Wish me luck-starting Accutane this January.

  • was there an inital breakout for u

  • This was awesome! I was on accutane too, and it truly was amazing.

  • I just finished my fourth month and my derm told me I might have to take sixth month ): and I still have active pimples, though I was supposed to be clear by now...

  • I wish I could get 50 mg. My doctor will only prescribe me 20mg. I've been on it for a month and a quarter and my skin hasn't changed much.

  • @derDeutscherMann92 i didn't get a good improvement till about 4 months

  • @UphyXx Thanks, that's good to know. I'm on month three now with some noticable improvement. And my dermatologist bumped me up to 40 mg, yay!

  • That stuff is amazing, it's a shame their finding out it can fuck your body up nowadays... my sister has IBS because of accutane.

  • I love how towards the end a smile starts forming. Awee (:

    I'm happy for you!

  • I took my second pill today! I hope it works!

  • This video got me through accutane!! This song always makes me think of this crazy journey :)

  • Z0MG YOU HAVE SO MANY WHITE SHIRTS.

  • That was an AWESOME video. You can see your smile progressing over each picture :)

  • i was just gonna say nice eyes, but someone beat me to it

  • nice eyes

  • Hey guys, I have created an accutane video and will continue to - i started a bit late in week 21 but will post a video showing my progress from day as well in a slideshow soon!

  • The best acne treatment is one that will eradicate your problem for good. The American Institute of Advanced Medicine has treated thousands of patients. The medication is FDA approved with no known side effects and has a 95% success rate. this is the answer you have been looking for! theaiam.com 1-877-414-2426

  • HOT

  • this should be promoting the stuff. i've been on it for over 5 months now, and its worked wonders for me! i had nodular acne all over my back before, but now i haven't had a pimple in weeks. great video!

  • They made his hair get Long then short then long again!

  • Lmfao dude this is fuking halrious!!!

  • You're super cute :) Congratulations! I'm going on it too, and I just have to say thank you thank you thank you for putting up your success story.

  • damn... just like to say you got hot:)

  • i had accutane for a week and my face and lips is peeling up . is that normal?

and is that going to last throughout the entire 5 months?

and also im having nosebleeds? is that normal??

  • @TheGscale Yes, my dermatologist says that the skin in your nose may dry and cause nosebleeds. You'll be fine, keep your chin up! :)

  • only racist people wear white that much you must be a kkk member

  • Woo hoo! Just got off accutane about 2 weeks ago! Such a rollercoaster of good and bad, but so glad it's over with. Your face looks amazing! :)

  • something tells me you like white shirts.

  • i was on accutane for the whole 6 months cycle when i first started developing cystic acne in 8th grade. after about a year all of my acne came back, but this acne was less aggressive. my derm. decided to put me on another round of accutane (6 months) to hopefully get rid of my acne all together. in two days it'll be one month since i've started my 2nd round :-)

  • Sweet

  • no chrones?

  • @ProductionsHead my dermatologist told me that the crohn's is BS they just wanna make money off it. I'm on accutane right now, so when they say its recalled they're just lying about it all

  • @coolbeans1793

Really? my mom got chrones from it?

  • @ProductionsHead I got this from health.com "Doctors don't know what causes Crohn’s disease. You may get it when the body’s immune system has an abnormal response to normal bacteria in your intestine. Other kinds of bacteria and viruses may also play a role in causing the disease.

Crohn’s disease can run in families. Your chances of getting it are higher if a close family member has it. Smoking also puts you at a higher risk for the disease." Don't just blame it on Accutane...

  • this makes me wish i did this kind of video to show the progress

  • @twixtedaqua hes now going into his 4th week on it hes back in the dermatologists on the 21st for the bloods and all...no signs of improvement as yet and hes had the initial breakout, to the point where he got a spot so big that both his eyes swelled shut, his school are sending work home for him as he wont leave the house, people stare and its not nice, i keep pointing out its improving but he just says yeah right :(

  • did your acne get worse before it got better?

  • hey great video it worked so well for u!! My 12 year old son has cystic acne and the doctor wants to start him on Roaccunate on Monday so im looking into a bit more info, what scares me is the suicide and depression stories, but hes already down cos he hates his skin its quite bad and im scared if i dont start him hel be left with permenant scarring..do u think i should go ahead and do it, and can i ask is you skin stil good 3 years on?? Thanx

  • @laura81stev the depression stories i believe it depends on the individual and the environment that surrounds them. Every now and then when you believe he is feeling down randomly state the fact that his skin is looking better. he might have to hear it from a random person so ask a cousin or someone to randomly come over and say it. Just keep reminding him when his course is over he'll love his skin. i just started it a month ago and so far im loving the results.

  • ive been off accutane for 3 months after the full 5 month course, and its slowly coming back to the way it was, its so annoying and wasteful

  • good =)

  • i like how at then end he started smiling...

  • Congrats man,!!! i just started accutane, hopefully it works!

  • Wow!! Amazing results! Good for you! You're very lucky you only experienced minor side effects. Congrats on clear skin! =)

  • i pledge, and im done with the program i am very happy with the results.

  • You're a very handsome guy, before and after the acne.

  • What an improvement. Seriously! You have inspired me. I shall find these magical pills and create my own miracle.

By the way; you have beautiful eyes, and you look great!:)

  • QUESTION~

Im on accutane now. Day 1 to be precise. Im not really worried about the side effects while on it, but im more worried about the long term side effects that occur years after. Have you had an digestive problems like irritable bowel syndrome, or such? What side effects did you get?

    THANKS! :]

  • @misterrslim Did you have slight red spots on your skins that arent bumps? Are they are scars or do they go away with time?

  • You have some cool hoodies.

  • i stopped my accutane 2 days ago after 5 months being on it. the resultss are awesome buh im just scared tht ill get my acne back beacuse i got 2 zits on my back :( ..

  • @MrNico012 who cares.. as long as not on ur face :)

  • i start my second round tomorrow hope all goes as well as yours!

  • Hope i have the same results

  • I'm 13 and going on accutane I've been on it for about a month my side affects are dry face, scabbing, very dry sore lips, and sore muscles(mostly my back), and I'm very tierd all the time. I've heard that it gets worse befor it gets better is that true or common and I'm nervous I don't want that to happen any pointers plz comment back to me thnx.

  • holy shit! that was the coolest thing i've ever seen

  • hey, i've been on accutane for five months, everything has been going absolutely great, and I'm starting a youtube channel now. (yes i know late for being on accutane lol) but I want to tell people about my experience in hopes of helping others!! so please check out my channel and subscribe :)

  • I've been through accutane before, and the ONLY thing that actually soaked into my lips and kept them relatively moisturized was the eight-hour-cream from Elizabeth Arden. It's sort of a use anywhere on your body type of moisturizer. I swear nothing else cut it lol

I just noticed it comes in chapstick type of form now too, so I'm gonna check that out.

  • You're a cute one...just so you know ;) haha

  • i've heard from my dermatologis that it getting worse before it gets better is rare, but a possibility

  • i didn't even get the first one.

  • wow.. the magic of accutane. great for you! :)

  • can anyone tell me how bad the first intial breakout is or if some people even get it

  • @Ch33ky360

yea its pretty bad, i had it but its only for like 10 days, starting one week after the first pill. after that it just keeps getting better!

  • You're gorgeous acne or not.

  • shit man what a dang fantastis chnge i have acne its so fukc-= bad man i am planing in going to a dermatoloist see what he recomends

  • luckyfagget

  • I like your hair longer. lol. you're cute. :) Congratulations for real. I'm happy for you!!

  • Thanks man, i watched this before accutane - heard the song today remembered now watching it again- It Works

  • 5 month course of Claravis 40mg/day. Toward the end of the treatment, things were clearing up well. However, there is still some problems. There is like this red stuff, it's not pimples because it doesn't erect out but rather looks like it is part of my skin, around my eyebrow and on the left side of my face. Since finishing my course like a week ago, pimples have been growing in random places, I don't know if this is what happens or not and I don't know what to do.

  • hey can anyone tell me if they saw any changes to their growth ? i keep hearing about accutane closing the growth plates or something and that stops u from gaining height ?

  • HOW MUCH ?

  • Dont think that by month 3 or 4 you are going to have a clear skin, even if you finish the course you will still have some scars or zits or something......after 2-3 months of you accutane course you will have the perfect skin;)

  • lol.. funny.

    Good for you

  • I've been on accutane for almost 3 months and I see only a little change. wtf? i thought my skin would be clear by now...

  • @summzzxoxo ive been on it too for three months with little change.

really make sure your just leeting your face heal and not picking at it.. also make sure your doctor is really upping the doses. other than that everything takes time but im sure theres a bit of a difference only you cant see.

  • So handsome! It's so great to see other Accutane success stories!

  • Did your acne get worse for some time during your treatment and if so, how long did the flare last?

  • hello everyone. before I go on this rant I don't want people to be discouraged from accutane because of my problems. I am starting month 5 or month 6 this Friday and I actually just got a massive pimple and I am currently getting blackheads and whiteheads recently. I have very bad acne scars so I am going to treat that after accutane. I have a few questions, How long after accutane could I use lazer scar removal or remove a mole and is redness on your face a normal side effect it like sunburn

  • congrats. Glad you found a treatment that works

  • =)) grats

  • im on my 4th month of accutane now and the results are amazing. I have to say i was pretty fed up with it 2 months ago. My face would clear up, then i would have another bad break out and wouldnt want to go anywhere or see people because i was so embarrassed. This month i dont really have acne, just little red marks that are slowly fading. Its great [: the only bad thing was my lips are reaaaaally dry and i have to carry chapstick every where i go. but it is so worth it

  • wow. that's amazing.

  • the side effect i am most worried about while being on my accutane is the inflamed liver. also the rectal bleeding, though i only get little dabs of blood once and a while. guys i will give you some advice, eat all bran cereal once a day so it makes your stool softer and less painful, people on accutane should know what i mean.

  • Hay well done you look great now congrats

  • ive been on this shit for like 2 in a halfs months and i barely see results it will be good one day and horrible the next and im taking 60

  • kool

  • AMAZING!!

  • Great stuff. It's always nice seeing Ro/Accutane working out for other people. I had a near-exact same experience as you with it. Seven months with dry skin and lips and nosebleeds but totally worth it. I have a video up too if you're interested.

  • hey yeah, i tell ya man, im on accutane and im getting blood noses like crazy. pain in the arse.

  • woooww!! I'm so excited i started taking it just today. Good for you lol.

    i like the video xD!!

  • how long is it untill most people start seeing results? ive been on accutane for a little of 2 months and im still having breakouts

  • @randomhero62190

and u will, i stopped getting sits around the 2 month mark, but my face still wasnt clear till the 4th month mark. evryone is diff tho ,i will tell u it is amzing wen u see ur results good luck

    Praise God<333

    Courtney=]

  • @randomhero62190 end of 3rd month start final clearing, 4th month clear, 5th and 6th month to finish up. Hang in there

  • Beautiful video! I bet you could sell this to them to use in a commercial.

  • does it help with scars in other aeas of the body like the back?

  • Yep. It helps with everything. It makes you really dry though, so drink lots of water and moisturize a lot. Get aveeno, and buy some vitamine E oil. Use that on your lips and use a q-tip to line the inside of your nose with it. Also, when your skin starts clearing up, put the oil on your face and it helps with scars. Since you stop producing so much oil, it's not going to make you break out. It might be hard to get your doctor to let you use it, but try if it's really bad. It's worth it.

  • @jmanthewoman Did accutane give you scars or just hyper-pigmentation?(the post redness that you get after a pimple has dried up?

  • yes if they are acne related. If you got stretch marks you are out of luck most likely

  • NO TE AGAS TANTAS PAJAS

  • i have a question, ive taken accutane bout 1 year and a half ago and when i stopped, my acne was all gone, clear face... but now like after a year or so my acne started appearing again and its getting worse, ive callled my dermologist and we set up an appointment.. do u think he'll subscribe accutane for me again?? plzz answer someone...

  • i dont kno if he would do that... that is risky ... my doctor prescribed Roacutaine for my serious acne problems too..it helped alot..but left me with psychological problems ...and i dont think i can afford to do another course with that sort of medicine

  • @dhakagod what kind of psychological problems??

  • depression, hair loss(making me more depressed).. and i have taken the medicine in a time of my life when i realised how i was badly betrayed and left to die alone even my bestest friends...so the depressions multiplied...made me suicidal .... u kno..when u take such medicines.. people around u should try to help u and cooperate .

  • @masauda1 he might

    how old are you?

    because it could be hormones

also you should continue to take care of your skin and eat well and drink alot of water after acutane because for some it comes back

  • @olderthan1875 im 16... and yah i try to take as much water as i can...

  • @masauda1 when your acne came back

was is just as bad as before or a little better?

  • no.. when i stopped my face wazz so clear.. buhh i have to be honest and say, I am lacking on water. and no, my acne isnt as bad as it use to be...

  • @masauda1 well atleast there was improvement

im taking my first pill tomorow morning

but its weird that im starting on 40 miligrams

    usually people start on 20 D;

  • gudd luk man.. ull see a lot of improvements.. all ur blackheads will be gone in less than 2 or 3 weeks.. and yah, take a lot of water, during and after taking accutane, im lackin on water and u know, im starting to get little bits of acne on my face... but its not as bad as it use to be, my face waz horrible at first before taking accutane.. you will also see scars dizolving too.. so take care of your face while on accutane to get the best results...

  • thanks man i took my first pill seconds before writing this comment

is a scary though that i might have just put something terrible into my body

but im going to eat best as i can on acutane as well as carry a water bottle at all times

  • let me tell u i HATED being on acutane.

but now im so glad i did it! i would wake up with blood covering my lips. it was gross, luckily the lip problem went away...to bad that was like 3 to 4 months after i had finished the med. i didnt get dry skin just the lips, i nevr got depressed..tho there were 3 times that i kinda broke down. i was at school all three times and i would cry like a maniac. sometimes for no reasons. that was the only thing besides the lips..

    Praise God<333

    Courtney=]

  • im on day 27

    im doing fine

    i have dry lips

and im in the middle of my break out thing

    not fun

but i dont have to bad of side effects

  • @olderthan1875

    thats great! lol

    Praise God<333

    Courtney=]

  • @courtneywhitlock hm...i think that was PMS

  • @jupiter784

    it wasnt.....

  • @courtneywhitlock lmao...im on accutane now and everyday i wake up my lips are sealed, bleeding and peeling. i look like a crack head

  • @sdotsoso

lol yea. well i stopped it early because it was eating my live and kidney enzymes which isnt as bad as it sounds, i would recomend this to anyone

  • I totally feel ya on the scariness of putting this potentially dangerous pharm into yer body. Being an ardent advocate of naturopathy and herbalism, it's pretty damn fuked for me..but my acne was getting SO painful I could hardly not think about it, not to mention confidence with women goin down the drain. sheesh..

  • @olderthan1875 terribly awesome?

  • @olderthan1875 so if im taking accutane, is it a good idea to drink alot of water all through out the day? just wondering, cause i know it dries you up alot. thanks!

  • @joefreakhouse1 drinking water wont moisturize your skin

for that i recommend noncomedogenic moisturizer [generally I used cetaphil facewash in the shower and cetaphil moisturizing lotion when my skin was dry]

the water is more or less to flush toxins out of your body and can help prevent new acne from forming

  • @olderthan1875 ahh... ok i see. so its a good idea anyway. thanks! also, does it help to put moisterizer on my face and chapstick on my lips before i go to bed to help with the dryness or should i just go to bed with nothing on my face and wait till the morning?

  • @joefreakhouse1 Well, i never intentionally put it on before bed, i just throw it on when ever my face was feeling dry [don't over do it]

And the same thing with chap stick, apply as needed

I've woken up plenty of times with pretty dry skin and it doesn't matter if I had applied it the night before or not.

Plus the dry skin can also help prevent new ones from forming

Also just because some people see results in the 3rd to 4th month doesn't mean you will.. I learned that the hard way GOOD LUCK

  • I started on 40mg 8 days ago, and so far the only negative side effects I've experienced are the dry lips and nose and CRAZY facial itching. The itchiness is quite bothersome. My initial bad acne cleared up, but I think I can see the breakout comin' on....

  • Of course he will! Unless you have a medical condition...

  • Well, accutane has worked very well for me, i've been on it for 3 and a half months, all active acne has gone, but I wasn't quick enough in taking accutane, as the scarring I'm left with is quite bad.

  • hey man 1st off congrats :)

i got a question though, what month did ur acne make that big jump & u saw a big difference in clearing up? im on my 5th month now and still having some trouble. sometimes i just wanna give up bcuz i dont seee a difference. any advice?

  • Don't worry usually improvement is near the end so don't give up. If your acne doesn't clear up you can always go for a second round of Accutane.

  • @xXiTamezXx Patience, bro. It wasn't until month five that anything happened for me. Sometimes people take a second course and then it kicks in. But once it starts to work, it REALLY works.

  • most of yall are lucky you only got acne on face... my problem is backwards.... i managed to get my face under control but i been starting to break out real bad on my chesr and back

  • @KoolJayJ you arent lucky to have it on your face. i would have much rather had it on my chest and back. you can cover that up but your face is something everyone notices

  • @knoxie14 the body acne i have leaves scars, and i literally have 100 scars on my back and chest from all the pustules i have to endure over the years, everyweek i getl ike 12 or so new pustules on my body........ but my face is relatively clear, i get maybe one breakout on my face every month, at the rate my bodys in, i'd rather have face acne then body acne

  • @knoxie14 Yeah well for me I had it on my face, chest, and back, and sometimes even noticed random ones on my thighs.. I've been taking accutane for 2 years now and it's all cleared up.. except for when I go off of it of course.

  • @DemocraticTwang that makes no sense because accutane is only a six month drug you dont keep taking it...

  • @deryoky The thing is none of the doctors in my town would subscribe it to me, so I've been buying it online. Even though it may be a 6 month drug (which I never have once heard) I go on and off of it.

  • cool vid! congrats u look awesome!

  • I finished a 6 mo. 40mg 2x a day dosage about 1.5 weeks ago and have some answers:

-Isotrentinoin is the formal name for accutane, but I took generic versions called Sotret and Clavaris.

-The brand name version of the drug was banned, but the generics are accutane and are still being sold.

-I was on an extremely high dosage for my weight and did experience some minor mental effects.

    -It is a pill.

-Since I couldn't drink, I smoked a massive amount of weed while on it, so it's ok.

    Def worth it.

  • i got a question... i just got off it and it cleared my exetremely bad acne right up... but now i starting to see very very very smal pimples and smal breka outs... like 3 at a time.. should i be worried? is this a sign of my acne coming back... or is it natural.. should i have nothing to worry about and they will come and go..or should i be worried? i really dont want to relive my nightmare..

  • Usually after Accutane your giving a resting time of 2 months, acne can fade even after taking Accutane. If your acne is back in full force after some period of time you can go back to your dermatologist for a second round of Accutane.

  • so your saying it natural to break out right after your off the accutane?

  • No, but it does happen so just wait a while and if your acne isn't fading then you can go for another round of Accutane.

  • go back on accutance, cuz your acne might come back, just like mine.

  • how long did it take for your acne to come back?

  • about one year roughly... am going back on accutane tomorrow hopefully!!

  • did you have it very very bad? like it covered your whole face with huge red bimishes?

  • well the first time before taking accutane it was bad, and now its getting to the same point... mostly the cheeks, area by the side burns and below ear...

  • i really wish i could take accutane but it got banned, so im stuck with trying tretinoin, which isnt working at all and i started using it a month ago. does anyone know if tretinoin works?

  • Dude, tretonoin IS accutane

  • @anusjuice69 it takes a while... three months or more. i am at month 2.5 and i am still with break outs, althought getting better. it actually made my acne worse for quite a while

  • yeah thats what its doing for me too. and Takpapp, its not accutane. its a gel. isnt accutane a pill? and accutane is isotretinoin, i dont thinks thats the same thing as tretinoin, but i could be wrong

  • @anusjuice69 yeah it sucks, no social life and hiding away for time! however, it will be worth it when confidence is back and life is happy again.

  • yea it does lower confidence having shitty acne, but your right. once its gone ill have nothing to worry about

  • Regarding the video description...

Accutane does cause mental side effects in some people. I swear by it, as it's done wonders for me and I've never had more than 3 zits in the time since I've been off of it (almost 5 months). However, the warnings are there because they do cause the effects in some people. We were just lucky.

  • Can you smoke ciggs\weed while ur on accutane? Really need help for a friend. Thank you.

  • yes. just no drinking.

  • Love your vid, this helped me get through accutane when I took it from Dec 08 to May 09. Thanks a bunch :)

  • diet and stress play a huge part whether you have naturally pimpley skin or not. When I got sober from alcoholism, i ate well, got centered in many ways including enough sleep which warded off stress, washed my face with clearasil and used oxy pads and my face is now clear after 2 months of care, save for the very slight scarring from popping pimples and picking at the acne.

  • Any girl that has been on this....did you still wear make up like cover-up while on it...Im a guy but my acne is so severe i wear cover up and i jus started accutane today! Help me!!!!

  • you can wear oil free makeup. It should have been stated in your accutane booklet

  • LOL. Cool

  • i just started accutane 5 days ago...i feel like my face has gotten more oily, i thought it was supposed to dry out? any suggestions

  • Hey mate, my acne is never getting better and always getting worst week by week and no product works like i would like. So my Dermatologist said that i must use the accutane. He told me that 25% of people that use accutane has their acne getting worst in the beggining of the treatment.... so i think that it's whats happening to you. But after that, accutane will dry your skin wich will make no more acne :)

  • if u want to get rid it use roacutane. It always works but when you first use it your acne gets much worse but after your 4 month period it will be perfect. Its your choice i used it and my first month was hell but now my skins perfect and I even have a girlfriend (im 13)

  • Thanks for the comment! (i'm 14) but whats the difference between accutane and roaccutane?

  • at that age it probably wasnt ur skin that attracted her

  • no but it gave me the confidence to ask her our and it helped me look more attractive than i would with acne

  • tru dat

  • trust me it starts out like that. Thats how it make your face less oily by taking all of the oil from your face.

  • IS IT STILL oily?

  • WOW your results are fantastic honey, that's great !! :) ps. you have such nice eyes too :P

  • Hey I have been in accutane for the last 10 month ,and its been great! however i have become very sensitive to light!! don´t know how to deal with this , ... i have a trip to a beach in one month and i end the treatment in 2 month.. Im thinking on ending the treatment sooner in order to have no trouble with the sun there... HOwever is this going to help me? What should i do in order to reduce sensitivity of sun?
