It was on TV last night, so I watched most of it. Loved the part where he saves her from the Trexs and when they're looking out into the ocean. I hope a re-make is made again at some point in the future with an alternative ending, where Kong doesn't die.

I like the 1933 Kong, but Jackson's Kong is so much more expressive and you emphasize with him more than the original. He's the last known of his kind, he had no prospects for the future, he was surrounded by enemies that would like nothing more than to kill him and eat him, but then his life changes, he finds more reason to life. Then he dies protecting his reason to live. Except in the video game.
