I love this game, I have it on the 360 and have never had an technical problems. If you like tactical games then you must get this. Although it doesn't use the full power of the 360 it still offers good game play in my opinion, not enought missions though but I think they have rectified this in the sequal. The sequal Battlestations Pacific is coming out this year which looks fantastic.

i just beat it. you not only have the campaign but challanges for the 'ships, submarines, and planes.' these also have levels for all of the units i named, i beat the submarine one first. it has 3 levels. the ship one has 4 i belive. the plane one has a bunch too. you would like it.

It's one of those games in my opinion that, once you learn the controls first, then everything else just falls into place. Like Battlefield or Battlefront or something like that. Sure you have different kinds of ships, but they all function the exact same way...except for submarines obviously.

sona111111 the answer to that is yes and no different parts of the ship are affected separitly on this game but ulltimently Fiers and Water is the main thing to worry about, I always set men to the water fire and monuverablity on the destoryers so they can hunt sbu's and fire, water, and weapons on the crusers.

ok ive beaten the game on rookie but im ready for a good challenge on the next level up. can someone tell me the 'sweet spots' on all the ships. it would be very helpful if i knew where to place bombs and torpedoes along with main artillery. thanks

but a question: is their any groups on the ships besides thoes "sweet sopts" that do stuff? like if you shoot at the enemies gun enough, can you disable it or blow it completely off? or if you torpedo an engine, does the ship slow down?

theres loads of different damage points that you can destroy and put out of action like if your in a sub and youve got the periscope up and a ship sails above you, your periscope gets knocked off

no, battleships are desgined for surface engagements but when your in a sub pt boats and destroyers can own your ass with depth charges
