@moffig1 It varies massively from person to person and there is no denying it takes a certain amount of dedication, but its also really amazingly enjoyable.

Also you don't need to spend a lot of money on a piano, you can pick up a basic keyboard really cheaply (especially second hand). It will take you a few weeks to get started, but after that it's all just fun.
