Another fail video from expert advice. With an oven that's already clean,of course just a sponge and a cleaning solution would work. However,if your oven is as greasy and has a years worth of buildup like mine did,you need a sponge with an abrasive side or a grout or nail brush with a fuckload of elbow grease, I used oven cleaner on my oven and just a sponge wasn't enough to clean the burnt off grease.
expert village really dosnt get it. I watch a lot of vids to learn how to make jobs easier and all i see is elementry class. I clean ovens and stove tops in apartments and use pumice stones and 5 in 1 tool to scrape burnt on mess still can take 2 hours to clean. also use green scouring pads, greased lightning and zep citrus solvent. just wanting to improve on that. and no vinager, salt and baking soda dont work without the tools. and no pumice will not scracth as far as i have seen, but be care
Honestly, with a little bit of thought you can keep your oven clean enough that regular use burns off any residue. Chance of overspill? Put a cookie sheet under your roaster/dish.
This is not very helpful. Why doesn't she show us how to take the burner and the rigging out? There are environmentally friendly oven cleaners... tell us how to find them. I think I need to make a video and post it myself.
thanks for your tip......its very useful,:)

How about a REALLY dirty oven. Crap video. Crap advice.

I think that oven has only been used about twice. Maybe she should use mine as a demo and she'll see a wee wet sponge won't get you far.
