  • thank you for the video verry helpfull

  • very good video very informative....thanks a lot

  • too funny, hope you have a fire extinguisher too.

  • mate this is the most helpfull vid ever made on youtube that u very much u just go a sub :)

  • why the hell did u mount it to your air box. now it has a leak and will let hot air in. dunb ass u dont mount things to the air box. u should of put it right next to the fuse box u put in. and u should of ran the main power wire right from the battery so the light will work all the time. u need to learn how wire up thing and do a cleaner job.

  • @bowtiemanchevyman I don't think that's a cold air intake. It won't have any effect to the air temperature and it doesn't look like the box is sealed from the rest of the bay.

  • @bowtiemanchevyman Its a cone filter in on an open bay. That screw isn't gonna make any difference in performance. I don't think you should be calling anyone a dumb ass when you start your post with that. Why would you want to run the battery down by leaving the light on when truck isn't running? I thought it was a good info vid. Maybe you should just keep your opinions to yourself if you dont have anything nice to say. Try tightening your bow tie and choke yourself.........

  • I own a 98 Pontiac,,I was wondering how wire fog lights so they come on witht he highbeams with the factory switch on the steering colomn

  • Do you have a link to that diagram on your laptop??

  • @RunAnHide07 I'd like to see that diagram too.

  • Nice video. What were the parts your ordered and from where?

    Thanks

  • Ok I already mounted my lights, I am a dumbass when it comes to electrical so I will try this...pray that I don't burn something!

  • BMF hell fucking yea!

  • Damn, forget the lights.... Get that Dirty Ass Air filter replaced... Your probably losing like 10hp..... Waht good is a Cold Air Intake, if it's all plugged up..LOL

    Good Video though.... Thanks

  • Wow, great vid. I wish other guides were this clear.

I put some off road lights on my car a few months ago, and the switch that came with the kit is pretty cheap. I have an extra hole next to the fog light switch on my dash (where the heated mirror switch would be), so I got a second fog light switch and I wanted to wire up the off road lights to that switch and put it in that hole so it looks clean. The only problem is, the fog light switch has 5 wires coming out of it. What do I do?

  • Hey thats hella cool. You wouldnt happen to know how to do this for turn signal lights would you?If you do send me a email to sherina_donahue@yahoo.com.I would really appreciate it.Thanks for doing this video

  • are the hella700s

  • Thanks! Great job, easily understood!!

  • Dude clean ur air filter!!!! And smurf check the bulb genius!

  • RE Relay use:

A relay is an electromechanical switch. Apply current to a coil and it activates the switch.

You can isolate high voltage or high current draw portions of a circuit from the rest of a circuit. Its important to consider with regards to the tolerances of the other items and wires in that said circuit. Too small a wire gauge may cause issues in this case. Here we can have the small stock wiring connect to the relay, which then connects high voltage to the lights.

  • Where did you get that fuse box.?

  • iv done a couple of installs with lights like this and i really dont know what a relay is or what it does. whats the point in using a relay when i can run it straight to the battery with a simple blade fuse?

  • can u make like a idle and walk around vid with some revs?

  • What do you mean why the relay do you know nothing about electronics. Bad job explaining ha I was assuming if you doing things like this on your own you would at least know how to tie your shoes. I guess that's why red necks were boots though. Don't hate on my video just cause you don't understand how electricity, volts and amps work.

  • and you didnt do to good explaining im not happy

  • YEAH WHY A RELAY!

  • ok why the relay????

  • did you tap into the head lights or no. i wanna know if you can run the lights by themselfs without the head lights

  • awesome vid

  • You need a new air filter...bad

  • nice a bit like the older mustang light, they dont look very bright but in prob cuz it was during the day

  • Quick Questions.... What size fuse did you use? What gauge wire?

  • @reverman0381 the fuse is a 25A and the wire is 12 gauge i should have went bigger in the main power wire because i plan in putting at least 4 more sets of lights on the truck. so when i get to that i think i will run an 8 gauge wire.

  • can you hook up 2 more lights with that set up?

  • @Arizonahwy10 im guessing you mean four lights on one relay i wouldn't do that but not to sure if you can or cant i plan on putting more lights on down the road and of each set in going to use a new relay and just plug it in to the fuse box

  • @thatguy1967 yeah I meant 4 lights, already got 'em though, four lights two relays and one swith all hooked up but thanks anyways!

  • hey where did you get that diagram that you had up on the computer?

  • Nice job. like the center console to once finished it will look bad ass. Again good job explaining

  • what relay is that
