if they are seeking the youth vote or the impoverished vote the things you complain about are likely to be less relevant. target the people who like that music, a.k.a. the majority or Americans. I think its funny. That technology is amazing!
Your facts are uncoordinated. According to the last U.S. Census data, the number of men and women age 20-40 in the U.S. totals around 80 Million. Age 40-80+ is close to 122 Million. Half of the "majority" of the Americans of which you speak aren't of voting age. Plus, I don't follow your assertion that people who like the music don't care about vulgarity in the social arena and their political discourse. How are the two aspects connected? I liked the music.
The assertion was the music that was blasting on there speakers may have had vulgarities, but it still taps into that younger crowd, 20-40 may only be 80 million, but thats still more than a quarter of Americans, 64% of Americans voted in 2004, if you assume that 50% of people between 20-40 vote, that means there are 40 million more votes to be tapped. you just have to focus on them!
I see your points. However, traditionally the younger demographic has not been very reliable at turning up at the ballot box. Even in years when it seemed that they were charged up, their apathy seemed to get the best of them and the older demographic swamped them.
Your absolutely right. thats the problem, but i believe thats who this group is aimed at. if the youth educated themselves and turned out i believe Kucinich has a chance. We must work to turn out the vote, especially the youth vote because we are the ones who are going to inherit this country.
I believe we must think as the Iroquois did, how will the decisions we make effect the next 7 generations. Its not just our future, but the worlds and the human races.
Remember: the "majority" for them mean the majority of the people who think like they do. Statistics, especially when not clearly identified. A28 is nothing more than just a childish attempt at taking the temper-tantrum to the next inane level.
Well, I think it's more the irresponsibility with regard to civil discourse which is the waste. The technology is simply the vector and could be used responsibly or irresponsibly, depending upon the maturity of those using it.
I'll give this to G.R.L.: Their technology certainly shows clearly why Dennis will never get elected. The comments and drawings made there using the setup are not those of people who are serious about politics. If they really wanted to support him, they wouldn't associate vulgarities with his name and his campaign.
You have a point. Their technology is amazing, but your right about the language, it needs to be kept serious so it can gain credibility and not look immature. Maybe some facts about how they lied to us into going to war would help.
