Yeah I would suggest to just stick to the first three games; the ones after Spyro were bad; but it's a shame because they did have beautiful graphics. The gameplay just sucked. PS2 and XBox suck. I love the PS1 classics!

there's only really t3 or 4 levels that you need to backtrack to complete 100% and so what?, it only takes a minute or two to get through a level if you've already collected everything.

I liked Spyro 2 better, maybe the tutorials annoying but hey not everyone knows how to play it and well it's a game also for kids.

The ''quests'' or missions were also better in Spyro 2 than Spyro 1 IMO.

omg this remember me my childhood when i got the ps1 around 4 or 5 years old, everyone was happy, my bro was like 2 or 3, he we loling so fking hard when i was running into wall for no reasons. played almost all crash and spyro game. I first got that spyro game where u can find dragon and unseal them or smthing (dont remember the name), which introduced me to Video Game, then played crash bandicoot 3, then spyro 3 then crash bash then crash ctr and alot of other crash and spyro game. good time

you can complete the first level without backtracking. jump on the gem near the ladder and try to jump from there onto the top of where you climb the ladder. then you can use the flying thing to do the challenges and you don't have to pay moneybags on that level

I loved spyro the dragon 1 even though I never beat it and cold not get pass the second boss. Irocially the name one of the bossed Metal head and did get sued. I guess because they changed his appereance and did not make him a robot turtle the got a way with it. The had that also happened in the final swam Princess movie the named the final villaness Zelda.

THe newest one, which I have yet to get, I believe is the first Spyro game to feature complete in game flight, meaning no need for power ups or special levels.

oh my god. i just had the best idea. they should make a spyro 4 with the awesome crappy graphics and the same controls! enter the dragonfly has rounder graphics, which for some reason makes the controls seem clumsy, and it's like ten levels, and the stupid breath thing. what's wrong with fire breath? and don't get me STARTED on legend of spyro. make it NOT spyro, i mean, change the names of the characters, make them look different and i'd be fine with it
