i have a soy milk machine. i just put the soaked beans in it and it grinds them and cooks. its pretty good. now i got to start using it again. and the left over soy bean paste is pretty nice to eat too.
it wasnt rubbing it in ehehhe. but i would say if you can afford one it would pay for itself in no time. in both the money you would save and the time. cleaning it is a bit of a pain but not too bad.
i think soytoy could be the name and brossan was the company though in another country it could be under another time. you should google it to find them. you would have your soy milk made so fast.
i think it takes about 20 minutes to make main time heating the water. and resting.
Nancy- do you think you could dry the leftover bean paste out a bit, grind it finer and make soy bread by replacing some of the flour with homemade soy flour? I bought soy flour before and made bread with it. It tastes a little different. just a thought!
OK, looked up making soy milk...soak soybeans overnight in water. Grind beans (cover with water), empty into pot..cook 20 mins THEN strain into jars, cool, chill.
Or was it three days?

its probably like 3 days the stuff i make doesnt last.
it goes stale quick , i would say because of no preservatives in it which is good hey.
i think after 3 weeks i would hate to know.

Nancy, how long does this milk last in the refrigerator after you make it?
