I actually get a stretched result on my two-strand twists just by grabbing sections of twists and putting them in big plaits. Each night I moisturize with shea butter and make 8 to 10 big plaits (I finish the ends of the plaits with two strands). It stretches the twists and gives them a wavy pattern without the wild ends. I love it!

I love the mini twist styles my husbands hates it. you have a slender face mine is round so some styles just don't looks soo cute on me, but i love your styles.

The curls may turn out better if you rolled your twist up with the rods without twisting them into big twist first. Same thing with bantu knotting your twist to get them curly. I have a tutorial where I bantu knotted my box braids to curl them if you would like to check that out (the same process can be done to twist).

i add a mix of aloe vera gel and castor oil (awsome moisture AND flexible hold) to my twists, pull them up to the top of my head and twist them into a tight bun and secure with an elastic and tie it all down with a scarf. in the morning i take it down and shake and i have big soft full body beach waves. i've had my twists in for two weeks and i'm gonna redo the edges and keep this up until i can't stand it lol.

I stretch mine by putting foam wrap on them and then putting about 8 or 9 big tight plaits in them. It worked pretty good.

i like the idea of where u were going with this, i would say to use smaller rods if ur going to group the twists together before u rod. u might get the look u want. :) i like this vid. never used the bendy rods.... i think i might try it. now... what should i use in my hair? havent gotten response. i need a shampoo, conditioner and something to define my curls or hydrate my hair thru the day. i didnt catch what u said u used in this vid....

@brandicburton Are you twisting the two individual strands in one direction and then twisting them on each other in the other direction? Is your hair damp when you do it? If those tips don't work you can always put bands on the ends or braid three twists together until they are dry. Good luck!
