  • Comment removed

  • everytime i animate with these stikfas the joints break, and i aint heavyhanded either. love yours though.

  • gets my vote

  • Really great but if you look closely the yellow guys but goes from the front to the back

  • very cool techniques here.

  • cool dood! these guys look like fun to animate. jriggity

  • Nice work! Not too sure if anybody else noticed it but the blue and pink Alpha Males actually swapped the G2's legs during the re-assembly. :) Call it a blooper. BUT STILL GREAT WORK.

  • LOL! I was waiting for someone to notice I did that :) I'd say I did it on purpose... but I didn't :P

  • thats really freakin good and jw what camera did u use cause i usually use my nikon d60 but dont really know how many frames per second it should be :/

  • Thanks :) I used a Panisonic palmcorder and Dragon stop-mo software on a Mac. This was shot at 12fps. If you want a smoother look you can use 24fps.

  • yo how did you get sound and backround

  • even if it was short it was the best animation of stickfas I've ever seen this animation rocks out loud

  • what are those people made out of, are they like wood? what are they?

  • They're 3" characters made out of plastic. If you Google Stikfas you'll be able to check out these little guys in all their glory.

  • alright thanx

  • SICK man awesome vid

  • how do you make them jump? and go through the air? i just ordered some of them and i know that there is magnets you can get, but how do they jump???

  • i forgot to say, this is probably the smoothest stickfa animations i have seen in a while

  • The great thing about Stikfas is that they come with squares in the limbs & chests that you can insert pieces into for rigging them. If you save the plastic pieces that you cut the Stikfas out of you'll find they are the perfect size to fit into the squares.

  • Thanks for your comments! I got them to jump by using a rig. I used a surface gauge for my rig. The reason you don't see the rig is because I used photoshop to erase it from each of the photos it was in. It's a lot of work, but definitely worth it.

  • that was so awesome! fluid movements, awesome moves....I NEED THESE FIGURES!!!

  • Thanks man! It took a lot of hours to get the motions right. I definitely recommend picking up some Stikfas. If you check out the Animate Clay website their store sells Stikfas at a great price and you can also get the magnets for their feet there as well.

  • awesome! is too small a word to describe this video.

  • That's fucking sick. This needs more views!

  • More Views?! It Needs To Be Featured!

  • :) Thanks man!

  • Awesome job Grayden, you won 2nd place in the contest!
