worst part is when crota get it wrong... it just annoys and pisses me off! the BM @ 3:20 didn't get the manual of health, the DK did. BM went from 550 to 600hp from level 1->2, not because of tome of health

Now, I'm not a Warcraft 3 pro, and I have a weird question.

Why doesn't anyone build one of the shops outside their base, somewhere convenient? Even if it were found and attacked, it's a little investment. Otherwise, it always seems it could be handy.

Because if they ever go to your base and you try and defend you'll have to leave your base to get any items. And it's much easier to destroy the shops if they aren't guarded be your base. It's not so much the cost as it is the time to build another one. If the Orc lost his shop at any of the prior battles it would've been over then because he couldn't salve his BM back to fill health or get Clarity Potions to regen the Shadow Hunters mana.

@yillow1 I actually mentioned the cost because I assumed it wouldn't hurt much to build two of them - if my memories are correct, it's only 90 gold and some wood each.

Yeah I see your point. I guess it's mainly because it's early in the game and even though the resources aren't that much overall, it's still resources that could get an extra guy out, or to buy an item from a shop sooner. Plus you're losing a little bit of income by using a peon that could be harvesting something. I've seen two item shops in late game a lot of time, but early to mid not so much. And I believe all shops you build have a universal cooldown time for items.

So really the only benefit to having two shops would be incase one of them got destroyed. But defending two of them would be a lot harder than one no matter if they were in the same base or if one of "hidden". Hidden proxy item shops can help a lot, but it's usually dependent on the map. So it's generally just a good idea to have one item shop per base you have. If you expand then you build one at the expansion to have items on the fly if that expo gets attacked.

@romanoswestwood no he would not as these games were not played on EU battlenet, and patches are not consistant with custom games anyways, i play on chinase realm and many games are not the same, youtake it as it come on these ones :) i am not flaming you at all just trying to make things clearer :)))

@gorgreal12345 Still i checked agian - the bm started with 550hp on lvl 1 just like in EU bnet. Then he got lvl 2 which are 600 hp. The DK took the tome. You can also see it at 3:25. The animation is clearly above the DK model
