Why the hell should they have to get new colors? They made Guitar Hero 1, 2, and Rocks the 80's. Makes sense that their next installment follow the same pattern. PLUS, they wanted everything to be interchangeable with Guitar Hero 3 (i.e. Using a Guitar Hero controller to play Rock Band or vice-versa, which would have worked if Activision weren't dicks, and would ACTUALLY ALLOW the patch to use RB controllers for GH).
