I was down south when I heard this tune. I saw the class of '76 march in to this song on their Senior Day. Can we say classy! I never forgot the song, or the artist. We had serious style and jazz back then. I miss and love Grover! God bless you, Grover! R.I.P.
Hey I was just a kid and my mom would take us fo ra drive and she would say we are going to listen to some Grover Washington and this was the always the song!
G.W. Jr. at his finest, Yeah boy, I remember this jam as a kid. Pop would jump in that big ass sky blue drop top caddy, throw on some G.W. Jr. and just cruise, heads rockin', fingers poppin', toes tappin' down the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio.
x-clan.. right? damn- i never knew where that heavy groove came from til now. I can now say, as below: This song made me start paying attention to Jazz.
Unfortunately Grover is no longer with us. He left us in December 1999, 4 days after his birthday, at the age of 56! However, he has left those "blessings" to continue to enjoy.
would you by any chance have the instrumental version of LOOK AT THIS? FROM THE 1986 Cosby Show album-a house full of love? it was played on two episodes of the cosby show. one episode was BIRTHDAY BLUES, where cliff and clair eat the strawberry whipped cream cake.
the other episode was when cliff and clair were in a contest to see who looked "the smoothest"
QUALITY TUNE
