Son of a bitch, Alton Brown. Don't tell me what to do. I love putting wasabi in my soy sauce. Well, I put just enough soy sauce in my wasabi to make it easier to stick to the sushi instead of knocking rice off of my roll.

I can get all the sushi I can stuff into my face for $13.95 and someone else takes care of worrying about the sanitation (I know the guy who runs the place---a white dude, interestingly enough---and he's fanatical about the cleanliness of his shop.) Why make it at home? Plus, sushi's best enjoyed with a date hanging on my arm :)

@silvr90210 oddly enough, seaweed IS algae. Or...more like a term used for a wide variety of algae. So when Alton said "it isn't seaweed; it's algae" he was wrong.

I have never seen anyone eat sushi with their fingers, even Japanese people at sushi restaurants I have been to don't do it.
