@StradTrumpeter That's extremely rude. I have to agree this production is NOT that good, it has no energy whatsoever. However, you can't stereotype homeschoolers as being socially awkward or anything. I know a group of homeschoolers who are in community theater with me, and they're very fun to be around. They aren't shy and they have a great sense of humor! You can't believe a stereotype! You don't believe all blondes or stupid or all cheerleaders are popular, do you? I thought not!

It was bad. Just Plain Bad. I mean there was no energy at all. Nobody got into character except Harvey and you all just walked around the stage like stick figures. You were suppose to be all joyous and happy and the boys were supposed to be mad. Harvey was the only one that impressed me. And at the end when ur supposed to jump and go yeah. It was fake and boring and I felt you didn't want to be there. Watch the broadway show or film version to know how to get into character. negative review

my school is doing this musical now. the guys who heckle hugo (hiya hugo, hiya stupid), come running down the stairs yelling at him, and hugo's at the bottom looking scared for his life.

and the chorus has AMAZING choreography!

and then when the cops go "conrads coming! conrad birdie is coming!", we all screech. oh god, this is gonna be an amazing musical.
