  • i just came

  • this car is sick and beautiful. If i wasn't 6'6", I would be the first at the local dealership as soon as it hits the inventory. wish i wasn't so tall lol

  • Research the car BEFORE you start posting and assuming things, as of right now, MOST (95%) of websites say the car will be going for $33,000 - $38,000! not $100,000+. Yea sure it looks amazing, but what's IN the car (engine, HP, Toque, MPG, technology etc.) usually is what the cost is based off of, not MAINLY the design of it.

  • @seagreenshoes0 by the way 25 mpg highway to be more specific but if it comes down to it i would gladly pay more at the pump to enjoy driving any sports car becuase they are truly fun.

  • if you have 120,000$ in cash to pay in full i would test drive this to a base r8 then pay in full and have it ordered to avoid settling on a showroom shit model that a dealer would attempt tremendously for me to buy, however given that acura has not given any specs currently and if its not a 3.5 second corner master with 25 mpg I would honestly pass and buy something HANDMADE not assembled in factory.

  • Looks a lot like R8!!!!

  • R8 wanna be

  • It's gorgeous

  • omfg how much will this be like I'm so serious I want this so bad

  • @taikoga161 its starts out at about $33k

  • Whats the wheel terrain ?

  • WTF ELECTRIC MOTOR? F*CK OFF.

  • @Chronix74 The claim that electric cars are better for the environment (clean energy) is laughable since most (if not all) of the electricity will be produced from coal. Don't fall for the green car bullshit. Buy the car that you want. Preferably a high torque, high HP monster that will give the middle finger to all of the Prius owners that you will be passing on the freeway.

  • @MrStoney2009 Agreed. I already assume anyone driving a Prius is retarded (from experience)

  • I WANT THIS!!

  • shit looks bogus im not gonna lie! what happened to making normal cars these days every car looks like a electric shaver

  • i automatically thought SEX

  • Finally honda, you have seen the error of your ways.

  • My nightmare is over, they kept the engine behind the seats. hooray

  • I take it the price will be highly EXPENSIVE!!! Does anybody have a clue

  • @KentonHaskell about $120,000

  • @KentonHaskell according to acura.com its starts at $33k

  • Watch this guys: /watch?v=HPytMNfe0oQ&feature=channel_video_title

  • Jerry Seinfeld sent me here

  • its not an nsx if senna didn't help design it :(

  • Seriously fuck people who said this looks like a R8 , seriously you people need to ''open your big eye''

  • Wait... what is this electric motor driving the front wheels bulllshit? .... Sure, let's rip off the R8's styling, change it a bit, and make it weird.....

What happened to the awesome old NSX styling? They could have revamped that classic lineage, with a newer motor, and had a killer machine rich fanboys would drool over!

  • I do not think it's worth to buy !!!!

  • R8 bop off

  • Ugly

  • Comment removed

  • First off, it's not made to be "the best car" there will always be better! And IMO it looks like they tried to hard with this car. Obviously It looks nice, no doubt about it! But when I think NSX, that is not what I would picture! Personaly the older generations are much better...

  • @sircd5 Ya dude, I prefer the late 80's to early 2000 models on most vehicles too.

    and Classics ofc

  • Im sayin atleast 100,000$ for this car, the old ones if in good condition still go for 50-60k

  • Fuck the Bullshit.....If i saw that on the street i'd shiiit myself....

  • FAIL

  • Electric motor..!? I hate where motorsport is headed..

  • @Spoolin92GSX I hate when people discard the potential of something, just because it is not what they are used to.

  • @Kyalaen It's not that I'm not used to electric motors.. It's the fact that, when someone wants a supercar or a high-end sports car, they want it for the whole experience. The rumbling idle, the sound of the engine pinning you into your seat, the motion of the gear shift sliding into gear.. How exciting would drag races be without that immense roar, instead with cars that just sound like golf carts..? Pretty damn dull if you ask me.

  • @Spoolin92GSX i hope you don know the reason why they are calling it a hybrid is because the 2 eletric motors up front which power the 2 front wheels and those 2 motors mean a huge amount of torque, just to let you know the system used in the nsx is very similair to the kers which is used in formula 1and dont worry the v6 handles the rest of the power ;)

  • @Redline2695 Oh, no I know they're separate motors for essentially an AWD set-up, and I've seen first-hand how much torque electric-powered cars can have I'm not arguing that at all! I could make more points for my point of view, but that's what it comes down to - preference. The very select market this is aimed at will love showing off all the tech goodies their new toy has, but die-hard gear heads like myself will keep the beautiful odor of C16 exhaust and scorched rubber.

  • @Spoolin92GSX I totally agree with you, nothing beats the sound of the throttle opening up and unleashing that roar but our global environment is degrading...Within a few centuries there will be nobody around to enjoy drag races or what not. I am totally on your side...I love N/A but for future human generations we need to think of the consequences of our actions right now.

  • Me-I would love to buy this!

    Salesman- Well thats $300,000

Me- :/ thats how much my house cost :(

    This car is about 250-300,000

    good luck

  • $33,000. nothing else needs to be said.

  • looks like an audi and a lambo had a baby

  • I'll stick with my mustang.

  • @metaltourrettesguy and you'll stick with failing

  • @metaltourrettesguy Idk man, that Acura is a sweet car.

  • Comment removed

  • How much does this cost?? Numbers, shootem

  • Hey look it's an R8...No wait it's a Lamborghini Gallardo...No wait it's a Scion TC....Oh it's just an unoriginal remake...Great.

They should not have called this an nsx, it's disrespectful, I'm sure Tsuchiya would agree...

  • DIRTYPHONICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IT'S SOOOO SEXXXYYYYY

  • can't wait for type r version

  • this looks like a lamborghini

  • hahaha do you even know what the benefit is in having paddle shift action... 2 hands on the steering wheel at all time. Give faster response times, quicker on turns, loss of reaction throwing your hand to the shifter. sorry to say. use stick is fun as shit to drive but paddle shifting is for taking the car to its limits and having no response time taking away.

  • @oloap1 why dont u tell them then haha

  • @oloap1

Atleast a few commenters here have common sense like you.

  • @oloap1 Which is why, if you are a real driving enthusiast, you will still take a stick shift over a paddle shift any day. That is the upper limit of enjoyment you can get out of driving a car. Otherwise you are robbing yourself of the fun of driving. Paddle shifting is for pussies like silent assailant.

  • @sblagg01 im a big enthusiast of cars and most of all in driving. i love building them. making them like new. and just making it better. im not saying paddle is the way to go. lol. stick is so much fun! DURRR but when it comes to times on the circuit... then .01 second is a lost. so making it more efficient in driving and less time fumbling and throwing your hand to the stick. its already there on the steering. perfect harmony. just look at all the super cars.. look at what formula 1

  • @delcotallica just cuz its ur opinion, doesnt mean its a fact...

  • this video is for you to watch and enjoy, not for you to fight about if it sucks or not. first of all, this is my opinion (true fact) about this whole thing. V6s arent bad. the Gt-r has a V6 producing 545hp! american cars are great, but not as great as imports. so to all you racist biased chevy lovers and lovers of everything i hate, including you, stfu the whole world isnt white.

  • Stick shift is a thing of the past, the transmissions on these cars "GT-R, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Acura NSX, McLaren and many other car manufacturers", are so advanced and shifts take milliseconds, something you can not achieve by manual shifting, the 90's are Long gone, welcome to the future.

  • @cybertec69 id rather have a true manual, paddle shifting is just as gay as automatic.

  • i just saw this at the toronto car show yesterdayy, how many are made right now?

  • Please be stick shift Manual. Don't be gay like the GT-R.

  • I don't like it. I saw another concept of the NSX that had a Honda logo in the front that would have been 100x better than this mediocre design. That other concept actually looked like an NSX but with better lines and exotic. This...well is boring.

  • why the fuck is he sitting on the ground 1:20

  • Acura is WAYYY to classy for V8's in their production cars cudos. besides V6 sports cars are as fast if not faster than the V8's of 10 years ago

  • @CropDuster33 erhem! the nissan gt-r can beat lots of v8 sports cars

  • @Bagadaboats yep nissan and infiniti are another example.

  • CARS MUST BE MADE IN USA, CANADA OR JAPAN! CARS MADE IN CHINA ARE NOT SAFE FOR ROADS. THEY CANT PASS INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS INSPECTION!

  • they have an Acura NSX and an ad that is a Chevrolet Camaro

  • @lowridr2 Piss on Top Gear Have your own opinion

  • 40.000$

  • im guessing that will be around GTR's price point in the USA :(

  • REALLY looking forward to this....excited to see how it stacks up against other cars

  • Stop fucking talking!!! I'm listening to the music!!!

  • This is a jolie car

  • people thought fq86 or lfa was the supr, sike. we got bck the gtr now the nsx. i cant wait for new rx 7 or 8

  • Everyone does know this runs a price of about $32,000 to $37,000 THATS IT. I could get 3 of these for that price

  • this one... or the R8. looks a bit similiar.

  • Me: TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!

Salesman: Em.. that does not even cover half the asking price.

    Me: :((((((

  • i hope the new nsx gets a v10 engine option .

  • Comment removed

  • I don't want an electric motor. I want VTEC...

  • I ssooooo want one!

  • Electric motor in from with a V6 in back? Interesting....

  • how tall is this guy? lol

  • @DUBSKEET8-"Flop like the last NSX?????"

  • they should do th NSX vs the 2014 lotus espirit on top gear. that shit would be out of control

  • Is it faster than the nissan gtr???

  • Honda knows exactly what they are doing. They do not need any turbos to complicate things. They can get about 400 minimum out of that naturally aspirated engine

  • The competition has been yapping away and barking like little Chiwawas but the real brains of the car world is at Honda, haters you mad yet?

  • 3.5 please say turbo too.....

  • when that guy started talking i thought it was someone in my room lol

  • @tyler1645555 lol me too, i dont know how they made it sounded like so real...

  • Looks sweet, but im afraid its gonna flop just like the last NSX. The car has an electric motor the front and v6 in the back. this my friends means no Manual trans will be available, and with the v6 you might get 250-300hp out of it tops. It will come down to the price tag in all honesty, if its not a reasonable price tag on the car then it wont compete with the competition i mean the new hybrid Camry puts out 270hp. I think Acura bit off more then they can chew

  • look like a hybrid man old nsx way better and nsx type r

  • that car looks so sexy

  • v10 v10 v10 v10 v10

  • yes! Honda!

  • Jizzzzzzz

  • this car is pussy and is for faggots, go ahead dislike me idgaf.

  • @AddictsPalato I'm a fag and I'd smoke your ass in that car...peace homie!

  • @AddictsPalato lol you sound like a pussy and a faggot.

  • i hope its not too expensive i want to buy one :D looks badass as fuuuuuck

  • DO WANT

  • Noting else matters anymore but this car.

  • SSSSSIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKK

  • I'm in love!

  • Japanese? Designed, engineerd and built in the good ol' USA

  • @PhillyBandwagon

OH it's Japanese. Just like the original NSX in 91. It was designed and engineered in Japan, it will be build in USA because of the strong Yen.

  • @CaptainNippon A million articles say otherwise:

"engineers developing the car at Honda R&D Americas’ center in Raymond, Ohio"

  • cant wait to see this on top gear

  • @lowridr2 im not. They're gonna hate it just because it's a honda.

  • God has returned...

  • damn...i bet you the only people that's going to buy this car is rich people....

  • @bhermoth

derp. of course rich people will buy it their the only ones with enough money.

  • I want this SOO BAD!!!

  • Wonder what if Nissan never made the mid 4 would this fob r8 be here .

  • the body line is similar to the original nsx, but the lights kill it making it look like an audi. they should of stuck with the elongated tail light and maybe a flush square looking headlight to relate to the original nsx.

  • @bomsexplosive Watch, they're gonna change the design again...

  • I hated the origional NSX looked like shit but this New "concept" is a great looking car minus the electric engine garbage, but like any concept when final production rolls off the line it will probably look like a Prius

  • Whoever tell u that this car is $40,000 is screwing with u. They forgot to add the "1" in front of the $40,000. It should be around $140,000 on the first batch.

  • My perspective of cars would never be the same

  • wow image the repair cost for this thing

  • I can picture how the electric motor in the front can rocket the car up to speed from a dead stop.. since electric motors have the potential for very fast acceleration then after a certain speed the gasoline engine takes over!! Just an idea!! Hopefully acura/honda finally get shit together and give us something good!!

  • Nice Ride! Goal to Get MySelf One Of These!!! Ha.

  • have they announced a rough price yet? some places are saying around $32,000, which can't be right.

  • @CW871 They are to top $100,000. Not exactly worth it.

  • Oh yeah!!!!

  • fuck american cars japanese and euro will always be better.

  • @mrincredible26 Wow your ignorant...

  • This is my new dream car... this and teh CTS-V coupe, but the NSX is definitely first now...

  • This Shit Makes No Sense. Honda Announced This Car Back In 2005-2006 With The Honda Badging In Tow. For The Past Few Years At Every Car Show I Went To, It Was Called The Honda NSX (As It Was Called Everywhere Else In The World), Now All Of A Sudden They Throw The "A" Badge From Their Acura Division On It? Not Minding The Fact That It Wont Be Out For Another 3 Years? I'm Sorry But If I Ever Get This Car, Im Stripping All The Acura Badges Off, And Rebranding It A Honda, Because That's What It Is.

  • @TwinMillGTR HAHA...U R RIGHT....WHAT THE FCUK IS ACURA NSX?..

  • @TwinMillGTR yea some/ acura owners do that in replacing the "A" with the "H" to have a "JDM" appearance

  • @bomsexplosive No one is fooling anyone by just changing the badges on their cars.

  • @vietdude1979 i know and they know that, its just to make like and have the appearance, like i said

  • Damn that looks good. I hope its not another great looking concept-turned ok looking production car though.

  • @sblagg01 lol i think that chevy, dodge and ford are outdated. they're building muscles cars from over 40 years ago! your comment is bullshit man! if variable valve timing is so outdated...than how come everyone copied it! also, acura's all wheel drive system is superior to everyone else'. they get better quality ratings than ANY other car company on the road...LOL what else...they power every single indy car, man you didn't think before you wrote your comment..

  • @posvibration21 YOU need to think before YOU post. Variable valve timing, with INDIRECT FUEL INJECTION, and NO TURBO OFFERING ON ANY 4 CYL MODELS, is OUTDATED. Honda has shown NOTHING recently in the way of creative engineering, just recycled stuff, EXCEPT THE NSX, which was my point, if you could fucking read. And where the hell did I mention Ford, Dodge or Chevy?? I even said I use to be a loyal Honda owner! God it amazes me how people like you can go through life so stupid.

  • It looks amazing!!! I want it soo bad!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Texarmageddon "The new, TOTALLY REDESIGNED 2012 Honda Civic." Except that besides a few tweaks it looks pretty much just like the 2011. But drives stiffer. & still no 6 speed auto tranny when virtually every other car in its class has one. When asked, Honda's reply was: "Our customers are more concerned about fuel efficiency. They don't want or need the 6th gear." Really? Then why does the Hyundai Elantra get better fuel mileage than the regular Civic WITH a six speed tranny?

  • Pretty sure it's stands for Acura "NoSeX" cuz you won't need any If you own one ;)

  • Id pop OH YEAh into the music player & pull a Ferris Bueller

  • whats the song?

  • the Superbowl brought me here

  • I expect this NSX will have a 3.5 L V6 (producing ~290 HP) for the rear wheels and electric motors for the front wheels providing ~160 HP total. Total HP ~450 and a weight ~3100 lbs and power-to-weight ratio of 6.9

  • it would be interasting to see the listing price on this car, id perfer a boss 302 any day if this is over 100k

  • @longer757 LOL do you know the price of a 90s NSX still runs for 50k?

  • ohhh shit. thats awesome

  • it better be alot faster than the old one or alot cheaper or a lil of both.

  • New cars are Hideous.....

  • @DC5boiThung im sorry are you blind? Its like angelina jolie morphed with katie perry and then they fucked a transformer

  • I wish i had this car

  • dear santa................

  • i want to see inside!!

  • *waits for gtr fan boys*

  • Omg Car Porn ... Skeet Skeet!

  • I want this soooo bad

  • HNNNNGGGGGGG

  • Sorry but this looks like a copy of the Audi R8 with some changes

  • Gorgeous car but it is after all, just a concept car and we all know how that goes. If and when they do ever go into production, they end up looking like some distant relative instead...at least in the US anyway. Interesting timing...releasing a car like this after all these years just when the US economy will be collapsing.
