Every time I watch a film starring Sir Norman, I never notice that it's not in colour.

Not at all, why should I mind? It almost seems like it's coloured, great animation for that time.

Norman wisdom was a extraordinary comedian.... The very best of British. A legend during his lifetime. His brand of comedy was hilarious and can never matched. Im 33yrs old and I tell you all... I couldn't wait for his movies to come on tv on the sundays as a little boy. He was hilarious then and just as hilarious now. He was a true gent above all. So can somebody tell that to.... I don't think Wisdom made deep inroads over here, aside from a cult following, but the above clip shows he could have had more than that, at least in my opinion . All the above are gone now, inevitably although in the last three's cases, too soon. At least they made handprints.

The thing with Norman Wisdom is he has always kept his feet on the ground. I met him 15 years ago and he was like my dear old dad. He was funny, but not a show off, he brought a round of drinks, and he told me and my friends that he was honered to meet us. We were in the armed forces at the time. God bless a true gentleman.

Oh definately,

i mean im in my 20's and started watching norman when i was growing up here in the uk from an early age cos of my grandad who was a huge fan.

From there on in my teens i saw him live in york at the barbican centre and to this day he just stands out for comedy.

Just shows you dont need to have a show full of swearing and crudeness to be funny.

I was a fan of laurel and hardy and also 3 stooges.

Such a shame whats happening to norman, was a pleasure to meet him
