  • I haven't read the other comments .. does anyone else agree that the story Moss told is quite funny?

  • great US SHOW. why do the brits have to copy everything

  • @kelliop They see me trollin' they hatin'

  • yes and black adder was stolen too, was based on a SNL skit about a chap called black snake in the revolutionary wars. was frickin funny

  • OMG, jajajajajajajajajajajajajajjaa

  • The best kind of humor is british humor

  • i love brittish comedy! so so much! i wish i lived there but instead i live in Australia. i grew up with things like dads army, black adder and black books! i have an obsession with the mighty boosh and this is just brilliant!!! haha, :D they make the best comedys they do GENIUS!

  • @ShoreditchVampire98 things are different in reality, i've been to Australia and Ive been to England, and as much as I love British comedies and Tv series, I 'd without a doubt choose Australia to live

  • I hate ads.

  • @m7870 fail use adblock plus

  • I love The IT Crowd, and The Big Bang Theory, I know they are nothing alike, but I love them both and they are both really funny to me

  • @Skittles91000

best episode of The IT Crowd was the D and D Episode

  • Big Bang Theory is better than IT crowd..you have to watch it from the first season. IT is good for pick up and play.

and on a different topic.. now i'm hooked on Mad men.. it's awesome :P

  • What? They compare this show to the big bang theory? that's effing stupid. the i.t crowd is way better!

  • @MrsPanicAtTheDisco1 dream on, big bang theory is the best :P

  • @MrsPanicAtTheDisco1 The premise is the same. Geeky guys, airhead chick, nerdy jokes. They are both funny.

  • the IT crowd came before the big bang theory and the big bang theory tries too hard to be funny when it really isn't

  • why are these episodes only 3 min long?

  • @owenkilleen well it's not the entire episode but just an extract ;)

  • The IT Crowd is much better than the big bang theory

  • I'm sorry but someone please explain or do a subtitle of this humor, I don't get it. English isn't my main language!

  • @RedHotCharliePeppers Well, a prostitute is someone one pays to have sex with. Which is, looked down upon in most societies. The joke is that, he meant for the guy to tell a different story, because, other than hiring prostitutes being socially unacceptable, it's also illegal. And, the joke, inside the joke, was that they were to scared to have sex with the prostitutes so they brought them to the fair, which is just inexplicably funny.

  • @Jackson72O Thanks! You are the man!!!

  • @Jackson72O hiring prostitutes is legal in Amsterdam though..

  • Wow.... I always knew Americans were thick, but wow! This entire show was written by Grayham Linehan, who is Irish-English all of the actors are British, It was filmed infront of a British Audiance and then the Americans steal the show and just slag us off?!?! Don't be jelous that your tasteless unfunny country has no decent SitComs...You can just make a more unfunny version of ours!!!

  • @MailingMonkey I agree but America does have pretty good shows, example: Community, 30 Rock, modern family...hmm i guess thats about it lol

  • @MailingMonkey "Grayham Linehan, who is Irish-English"

In what way is he English?

  • @MailingMonkey you are wrong, the US versions came first, same with the office.

your country is so small that you think you won't get away with it by telling people our ideas are yours.

  • @kelliop Wrong. The Office was first made in the UK by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The rights were then sold to NBC. Why don't you read before making wild assertions like that? /wiki/The_Office_(UK_TV_series)

  • @MailingMonkey I'm sorry for being a fan of something, won't happen again.

  • @MailingMonkey I'm American, and even I agree with you. American SitComs SUCK. I absolutely adore British humor, and felt slightly offended when I heard people I could be grouped with were messing with this complete piece of comedy genius. Why, America? Why? T_T

  • @ColdRiceBall Scrubs, Community. :)

  • @Franticalmagic I still prefer British humor. :)

  • looks hilarious from this clip, I love the over the top actions and dry wit at the same time.

  • box of wine

  • english think they can compare with american humor.

  • @9090Lmao. Hhaha, your right, you americans can make jokes!

  • @mr9396 the day any British/English show is popular in the UK and the USA equally as was (friends) in the UK and the USA you can say anything till then....

  • @9090Lmao. There was a good reason friends was taken of E4. And now we have to deal with more american shit, like 'the big bang theory', which was a rip off of the 'IT crowd'. We take pride in having great TV, and not having to air lots of foreign crap. If you think your humour is better, stop wasting time watching ours.

  • @mr9396 your whole problem is with the big bang theory?

    and what is e4?

  • @9090Lmao. Read the whole comment. And E4 is a tv channel with lots of american shows

  • Oh my god. this is the dumbest fucking show.

  • Comment removed

  • this is the only english show i can stand watching

  • Jen is so hot.

  • @PokerPlum there are no wigs in this...those silly voices you're reffering to are "accents" anyone with any knowledge of the outside world would know this. its not out dated, and there is no evidence to show it is. and they are acting, not over acting. it is a brilliant show.

  • Yes, yes. An American version would suck...oh wait, there was an American version? Really? And it sucked. Except this Moss is in the US version too.

  • ....the office has an american version....

  • Yeah, an American version would be terrible. Good thing they never made an American version of The Office. That would have done terribly, right guys?

  • @BoredJonProductions Did you see the American Coupling? Probably not because those who did gouged out their eyes and punctured their ears. It was a personality-free repetition that only added American accents and poor delivery. The first season of the American The Office was pretty rough too. The second season is when they stopped copying the original and just went with the premise, but their own show, and since then it's been great.

  • are the episodes only 2 minutes long or are these just clips? I know that's a dumb question =/

  • @IDontKnowAnyways Just clips :P

  • @IDontKnowAnyways asked earnestly, dumb questions are ok ;-) These are just clips. There are full episodes and well worth getting your hands on :)

  • jen is hot!

  • @theandrewclav unbelievably hot. Her voice....hmmm

  • an american version would work, ONLY if roy and moss were the same actors.

  • I like the show, kinda, though some things feel a little copied, like Roy is almost an exact copy of Tom Green, whom Im really fond of. And the show has a Bottom feel to it too. Anyhow hate to be a whiner, so end with this. Really like Jen, she's a great comedian actress!

  • NO AMERICAN VERSION PLEASE.

  • I really hope there isn't going to be an American version of this cos it would be a complete disgrace to the original!

  • @stardust1496 too late

  • americans think they can compare with English humor >.<

  • @MortenVelde Actually, we have our fair share of hackneyed shit sitcoms. Look up big bang theory, I'm sure you'll love it

  • @MortenVelde I would consider it Irish humour actually as the writer is irish

  • @MortenVelde even though Graham Linehan is Irish not English

  • @MortenVelde I love this circle jerk. Oh yes we are so awesome oh yes, oh yes.

  • @MortenVelde hmm i think this series is specially similar to american humor, and it's not English but Irish. For example Naked Gun movies are also extremely funny

  • @MortenVelde No I dont XD I love British comedies just the way they are.

  • @MortenVelde cultural differences , people from England are going to find other things funny, and vica versa

  • @MortenVelde that's a little mean :/

  • @twentyoranges In the matter of americans, nothing is to mean.

  • @MortenVelde Jeeze, generalizing a whole people. I love English humor. I watch shows like this, but I also like American shows. Every country has their own humor, and they're all pretty good.

  • @twentyoranges I am not. You are doing it to yourselves

I'm not even from your country, but I still have to deal with the repercussions from your country's actions.

  • there no sound n.n nnnooo

  • This is a great show, i don't know why people compare the big bang theory with this, it has no simularitys.

  • @herogna Big bang sucks

  • @herogna I agree with you. I'm a big fan of both shows but there is no similarity at all. The IT Crowd is the superior show as well.

  • @herogna ummmm....nerds? That's one.

  • @Leothiman No. The IT Crowd is about "nerds." The Big Bang Theory is about completely unbelievable "scientists" that nobody can relate with, and of course a Hollywood beauty thrown in the mix to satisfy American viewership needs, but more-so to spread the delusion that their country is full of model-like people when in fact they're as ugly as the rest of the world (with the exception of Scotland, no country is uglier than Scotland).

  • @GreenyFool So then is Jen not a "Hollywood beauty thrown in?"

Ha, found a link: An attractive woman thrown into a situation where she must interact with men of a different intellect that she will never truly understand.

  • @Leothiman Attractive yes. Attractive women exist in regular life, Model-like Kaley Cuoco's are reserved for the Hollywood delusion.

  • @CloudArchitect Hahah, thats so awesome.

  • 1:56 "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!? WHAT DID YOU SAAAAY?!?!?" X''D

  • this isnt funny at all.

  • @StickNinja FUCK YOU!

  • @StickNinja nope, Its a great tv show :)

  • @StickNinja Leave.. Just leave.

  • i think i died of laughter when i saw this

    xP

  • press 5 over and over:)

  • Wow. That was not funny at all.

  • @bench175

Wow. You have no sense of humour at all.

  • @Bielghs Of course I do. This just didn't have any good humor.

  • i <3 richmond

  • this show is very funny but jen gets to me lol

  • LOVE the IT Crowd - Richard Ayoade is also a writer/director of a new movie "Submarine"

  • Love the IT crowd....watch the box set quite regularly......love seeing Jen in short skirts ;-)

  • i love THE IT CROWD

  • 1:03 NICE! and her legs at 1:18 lolz :P

  • keep pressing 5... perverted!

  • If Richard Ayoade is in it, it can't be bad.

  • huh i thought he was Welsh

  • Meh. I am unimpressed.

  • Is there anywhere I can watch the first season of this for free online?

  • @rise54321 If you live in the UK you can watch full episodes on youtube in the tv shows section or on the channel 4 website...otherwise come sites like surfthechannel have it

  • @semt9 Thanks semt9, I was able to find it on netflix (play online) through a friends account for free. Thanks for the tip though.

  • I want to hear the story of when Moss lost his glasses D:

  • we did have to pay for all the rides XD

  • This is hilarious - Ive lived outside the UK for years and never heard of this - is there somewhere I can watch entire episodes?

  • @watcher9999999999999 Look around on youtube's "TV shows"

  • @watcher9999999999999 try searching in "the it crowd"

  • tv.blinxx.com

  • I am an American and this is one of the funniest comedies I have seen. I hope they make an American version but the original is the best. Moss is very funny.

  • what does he says after '' we were to scared to do anything...''

  • @LordEizen he says, "So we brought them to a fair"

  • @boxmonkey hahaha oh i understand now thats funny xD

  • I wouldn't mind an American version, really. I mean, if the original developers were in on it. The guys who adapted The Office seemed to do a pretty good job.

  • @viewtifuldee They do have an American version which's never aired tho. The Pilot was filmed by NBC on 16 February 2007.

  • @esimon1980 Yeah, I know. I read that it was ditched after an online viewing. The good news is, it's back on! I hope the same people who write for the original help out.

  • @viewtifuldee wow, that's definitely good news!! 6 episodes per season is not even close to enough. lol

  • @esimon1980 Very true. :) All of the good British shows are only 6 episodes per season. I really hope this one can live up to its original.

  • i absolutely love this shot

  • LOL This show is bloody brilliant. I am in a Computer Support class right now and we watched a few episodes, I almost fell off my chair a few times

  • jen's legs are killer!

  • lol

  • ya know, Moss reminds me of some kind of hybrid of Jemaine Clements HBO show character (at times) with a bit more Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. theres probly others. what if Sheldon was America's Moss? not to play him, but just as our own versiob of the archetype. better than the other so called "geeks" on tv that have polished hair.

  • It's so awesome :)

  • shit i would of kept laughing till the end of the story!

  • brit comedy watered down to suite an international market, this show is balls

  • just watched tropic thunder for the first time last night. lmfao.but it's very different to british or even austrarlian humor.it's good to have two different styles.

  • That wasn't funny :\

  • @ghjit Could America ever pull off the "Made in Britain" jokes? It wouldn't be the same.

  • @chizzieshark Actually we could, we do it all the time here. A couple of weeks ago there was a whole bit on Family Guy about it.

  • @ghjit and Family Guy is crapola.

  • Can't the Americans think up of anything original? Come on, this show is class!

  • LMAO. funny as hell. An American version would be a waist of money.

  • @joshiskira101 its spelt waste dumb ass

  • @Mofran56 Eat a dick bitch.

  • @joshiskira101 actually an american version would be a waste of time, but good try apparently 33 people don't know how to use the English language either.

  • @TheCbrack lol agreed my good man!

  • An absolutely BRILLIANT show I discovered by accident. An American version will BOMB. Don't do it money grubbers in Hollywood.....don't do it !

  • @AAav8or They made a pilot a few years ago with Joel McHale... it didn't make it on air... they're planning to remake it in 2011 again... Probably won't work again... The US pilot version is out there on the internet somewhere...

  • @AAav8or big bang theory

  • @AAav8or My brother should be in it. He looks like Moss.

  • @AAav8or They already did and it bombed bad.

  • @AAav8or I believe the American version is Big Bang Theory

  • @slayerX2 No, just no. Neither Moss or Roy have PhD's, or work in a University.

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 Similar aspects can be seen through both T.V shows.

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 Was the 'just no.' really necessary?

  • @Itscaj Uhm, yeah. I found it necessary to emphasize my disagreement. If you have a problem with that, I suggest taking it up with someone who gives a fuck. Good day.

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 Nobody cares about your disagreement. Nobody cares about you.

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 Since you came up with a response and reason behind your actions, I believe I already have. Bad day.

  • @Itscaj 2 days later. Snappy...

    Go fuck yourself.

  • @AAav8or Thank god it failed and we got community instead.

  • DON'T RUIN THE IT CROWD THIS IS HORRID! I am American.

  • rtm rulez:)

  • amsterdam rocks!

  • AMERICA!!! FUCK YEAH!!!

  • lol?

  • More episodes!

  • is this really episode 1?

  • @funkyfinn500

Yeah. In this episode, Jen get's hired to be the head of the IT department, and she thought having a little party would make the IT cooler.

  • british humour is just different.

Anyway, isn't that what we supposed to do in amsterdam? It's legal there

  • @calciumkid85 Amsterdam is just the dutch city life the most tourists come here to get laid or get high and they should make drugs illegal in holland becouse alot of people dont like drugs in the netherlands only the kids and junkies likes it

  • @brandmannetje Well,it's X-rated big city (probably the most liberal and permissive western country ever existed) but i went there without any adult supervision when i just turned 17!along with my cousin who was younger than me,we looked inside 'sex museum' and even bought many 'inappropriate stuff' (my mom got upset when she found out!)

I thought that already became a "ingrained culture".I'm asian but i have dutch relatives. one of them (a grandma) often spends time in red light district!

  • @brandmannetje

Pfrt. It's all between their ears. Whiners. Marijuana should become fully legalized. As long as the users are doing no harm to others, it's their choice what they want to put in their own body.

  • @laflugantabastardo people using drugs has always a bad attitude believe i know a few people that are on drugs as long as you keep them happy they think they so funny but if u say 1 thing wrong they form a big problem and the problem is they are bad for the economy always borrows money never work has nothing to do with whining

  • @brandmannetje

You're talking addiction now. With that logic we might as well ban alcohol too. (In fact, alcohol is worse than pot in every way.)

  • @laflugantabastardo i drink to and i never got drunk. but still almost every guy that uses drugs are not very much to their sences

  • @brandmannetje

Alcohol is a drug as well. In fact, it's worse than marijuana.

Like all drugs, you have to know your limits and when it's an appropriate time to consume it. I know a few people who do pot from time to time and they use it responsibly. (Not too often, not too much.)

I'm sorry for your acquaintances that they can't keep themselves under control.

  • Embarrassing.....!

  • Moss.... WHAT DID YA' SAY!!!!

  • I.T Crowd is the best!!!

  • why cant americans just watch the it crowd without it being remade? i dont see uk remaking The wire, soppranoes, lost, heores, csi, big bang theory.

  • @WasLilChrisnowbigish Probably cause no offence but we have more sense about these sort of things

  • @Barneystudioz

    or just a bigger budget

  • @WasLilChrisnowbigish

Give it enough time. The made a UK version of Law & Order, American Gladiators, That 70's Show, Who's the Boss, and other stuff over the years. Mostly it seems to be gameshows and reality TV junk that gets remade for the UK.
