  • subarashi!!!

  • strange how everyone judges her movements when everyone moves differently to different things, like people react differently to emotions. maybe u shud listen then judge her sound, which isn't bad at all.

  • she playes kind of a 'rubato' for this classic piece.

    this intepretation is inappropriate.

  • @robertbusse That is very stupid idea. Beethoven would love to hear his pieces with so-called "rubato". Rubato is all about timing and the timing makes music interesting and beautiful.

  • she shakes her head too much

  • so?! i bet you cant play this half as good as she did

  • this is not an easy sonata,

to play technically well it is, but to capture the feeling beethoven wanted is much harder even greats like arrou dont play this with the refined graceful manner that it should be played with

listen to barenboims interpretation it is awsome

  • check out andras schiffe's lecture on this sonata too (google it).

  • I agree, I just listened to Barenboim's. I think it's the best interpretation on here.

  • what the hell i dont give a shit how old you are if i saw a 2 year old playing one of liszt' virtuoso etudes i would treat it the same as a 30 year old

  • jealous much

  • Yea I agree the expressive body movement is too much

  • Well, I play this sonata

  • I'm working on it, and damn it, THAT'S NOT EASY!

Very good job! If i were you, I would try to give the song a less "epic" tone, in favour of a more "relaxed" approach.. But you play wonderfully... I'm 20 and I bet you play better :D

    Congratulations

  • Actually it's one of Beethoven's easiest sonatas. But for a 13 year old, excellent job.

  • Well Op. 49 are much easier, and also others. This sonata is not so easy... Maybe for a pro it can be, but I wouldn't define it "easy"

  • Nice work... I liked your development especially. The expressive body movement is a little much for me, however. It can get distracting... especially since this is a lively, playful Beethoven piece, not Chopin or Rachmaninoff.

  • Well played. This is not an easy sonata.

  • A nice interpretation, however, for a true Classical style, you should keep an even tempo throughout, unless specified.

    Overall a virtuoso performance

  • this is a difficult one... well for me. you rock! damn

  • The first time that I really like to hear this sonata! very good!

  • In fact this piece is not difficult, but it's a great job for playing this.

  • you are so talented Yiren Lu...

  • haha, are you playing mozart??

  • haha, of course! you must be the New Beethoven, and nobody knows you

  • wow so goodXD

but >_> at like 2:00 and etc. when your left hand comes in... it feels likeyour pounding the key alot... >_> "similar to what ioanapiano said". and 3:20... >_> well that's only how "i" see the song... no need to care about me ;)

  • wow you must practice like 10 hours a day.

  • on the second theme you got too fast....and your left hand was louder than you right one....i didn't like it that mush...but keep going!

  • WOW! Respect! Really 13 years? You play wonderful! I´d like it not too fast... Go on playing.

  • I love it!!!

  • wow :O wonderful ^-^ ^-^ <3333
