Just saw them at the mod club toronto with cancer bats. fun show. if you were there, maybe you saw me and my buddies dressed in ponchos and fake mustaches waving mexican flags for them.
Just got the album yesterday. I grew up a mexican punk rocker in SoCal and love Flogging Molly and I asked myself why couldn't a band take Mexican music and rock out? Then I found Mariachi El Bronx! I have never been so happy! Love this band and love the music. Now I have a band that both me and my parents can enjoy. Oh yeah, my parents are from Mexico and they don't understand english but they love these guys. Can't wait to see them live.
This is the 1st time I've actually purchased an album in about 10 years. That just happened like 10 minutes ago. I could not go another day without owning it. Having it. Listening to it. Playing it to my most dear friends. My wrists are shaking as I type. (that could be from drugs though) But, I'm floored. Also note that I feel more proud to be a Los Angeles native.1st time that's happened since the riots. Thank You. Love You.
Hopefully The Bronx coming to Germany as "Mariachi El Bronx" ! After I saw The Bronx in Frankfurt February this year, I want to see them as Mariachis, they´re great !
