  • What do the Suzaku, Genbu, and Seiryu summons do precisely? Can you control the dragon from the Seiryu summon as well?

  • can someone please tellme how to do the dragon and the owl?

  • I think its:

    Dragon: F, B, DB, D, DF, F, B & attack button

Owl: hold Up, UF, F, DF, D + attack button

    Hope this makes sense

  • oh thx but lol what is F B D U and all those commands???

  • joypad directions. press; F = forward, B = Back, D= Down, U = Up.

    joypad Diagonal directions:

DB= Down Back, UP = Up back, DF= Down Forward, UF= Up Forward.

    Hope these make sense.

  • Mariah is one bad bitch!!

  • is that a emulator? if yes where did you got it? anyway great move ^^

  • Yeah man, those are wonderful. The Gradius shields are in HoD, too. PoR should definitely have a few little Easter eggs, and hopefully a lot of references to the first few games, since we're back to the whipping action!

  • cool! I always wanted to see her in action. You know that dragon looks as if it were taken from one of Konami's games...possibly Salamander...if it were blue.

  • It is taken from Salamander, mate. The Life Force release features blue ones, whereas the original's are red. :)

  • I know, I've seen it before. I just wasn't too specific about where it came from. I think it's cool they did that, I guess Konami wanted to see if their fans would notice that. If I'm not mistaken, the fire shield has the same dragons but they're red.

  • Aye. The Castlevania series has an awful lot of Gradius references. The Moai heads were in loop 2 of Castlevania on the NES (a bonus item), the Bat Company boss in Dawn of Sorrow turns into a Moai and spits ring lasers, and the Gungner spear in the same game actually looks a lot like a Big Core.

Snatcher had the most references to other games, and it's something that Konami does in almost all of its titles. Let's hope it's a tradition that will be continued! :D

  • Oh yes! If Portrait of Ruin (the lasted castlevania title coming out) has references then we know this shall continue. I really love it how Konami did all that, you do know that the shield rod fires a force shield if you pull off a combo, right? There is also a nice trick with Alucard in his bat form. If you have the bat familliar out and shoot a fireball, you get a option like effect. I've noticed that after playing hours of castlevania.

  • Yeah same here =/

  • I wish she was in the PS version. Great vid.
