I have been a diehard Detroit Lion fan my whole life, because of that, I hated Green Bay ever since I can remember but I loved Brett Favre. He played the game the way it was meant to be played and was a joy to watch. It's sad to see him go and he will be missed greatly. He is one of the greatest qbs to ever play, not quite at the top but his legacy that he leaves behind will never be matched by any athlete. Congrats on a great career Brett!!

I felt a little silly getting teared up when I heard the news, (I didn't want my husband to make fun of me!)...but eventually when no one was looking my eyes got watery. You can make fun of me, but I won't apologize for caring so much about such a wonderful player and person...what a great role model and all around person. he will be greatly missed...
