@pconrad88 I agree. I was at this Dec. '87 show on the 3rd leg of The Joshua Tree Tour. Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ. Absolutely amazing night!!! Chilly with some snow flurries flying (you can see them on Running To Stand Still). Footage filmed in color for use in '88 Rattle & Hum. I saw Rattle & Hum in the theater in the Student Union at The University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ where I attended. Great memories!

@jhein1992 Oh please, the edge has been using the same guitar riff for the last 20 years, the songs have no feeling or lyrical content whatsoever. They reek of laziness, they have produced radio-friendly, simplistic pop songs to inflate their enormous (tax-free) bank accounts. I doubt in 20 years time anything off those two albums will be remembered (with the exception of possibly 'Beautiful Day' as it is extremely catchy, but not necessarily a great song)

I haven't been thrilled with their last 3 albums, have a lot of issues with ticket prices and Bono shaming countries into giving tax %'s out and then his own band avoiding them. But I've seen shows on the last 3 tours that are comparable to the ones I saw in the late 80s and 90s. Some not, but when I see them at their best (11/14/05/miami) nothing else matters. They're timeless.
