As for your question about the other five commandments- I think that was just a sly joke by Mel about how our understanding of the 'ten' commandments is colored by the christian churches and also that movie. Some Jews refer to it as the 'fourteen utterances.' For instance- "I am the lord thy God, you shall have no other gods before me" well that's two statements, of which only one is an imperative, the other a dative. We just kinda trimmed it back to "ten."
