I don't know if they are not from this generation and they are jealous or is this some sort crazy 1990 vs. 2000 war still going on. I personally enjoy this show. Also, instead of sticking the roots to Mario themed action and adventure, they decided to make it educational. For example, there are episodes where Mario and Luigi teach the cavemen how to do this and that (teamwork, drive a car, etc). The Mama Luigi episode was babyish because Yoshi talks like a child. LOL

This is easily the worst of the Mario cartoons, and is possibly the worst video game cartoon of all time. Unlike in the previous 2, which they were mostly correct in, they weren't even close in this. Why did they feel the need to rip-off the Flinstones and ignore the game (Hullo, Yoshi was captured by Bowser and put in an egg!)?
Not only that, but they don't even use the real names of the Koopalings, even though it has been a year already. In fact, they half-assed the whole show.

At least the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 was accurate, aside from names and King Koopa (shame on Dic for not changing his design to match the game).

Oh, wow! Super Mario World! This is one of my favorite cartoons along side with Captain N. I remember they aired them together as one television show. It was on NBC every saturday mornings.
I'm surprised none of the American animators complained. She was much prettier (if you can classify a character as that) in the opening. It is almost as if her face lift wore off.
My friend that's the golden question that's still to this day is unanswerible ^-^. When I used to watch this cartoon I too asked that question and to this day I still punder that lol.
Also this show would've been a lot more watchable with an overall plot. That way, at the end of the series there could be an ultimate enemy that even Bowser, or King Koopa, or whoever the hell he is, would help to kill.
Totally agree it's like a bizarre reggae number that doesn't fit with the tone of the show, or any show for that matter. Some songwriter collected a cheque under some false pretenses back in 91!
Why didn't they keep that kind of animation for the cartoon... the intro is the only thing about it that doesn't have any errors and the characters are drawn better...

Oh, wow! Super Mario World! This is one of my favorite cartoons along side with Captain N. I remember they aired them together as one television show. It was on NBC every saturday mornings.

i'm guessing that it was because half the show was animated in america and the other half made in asia (most likly china/korea).
this was common back in the 90's and is usually the reason for most animation errors of the time.

I'm surprised none of the American animators complained. She was much prettier (if you can classify a character as that) in the opening. It is almost as if her face lift wore off.

My friend that's the golden question that's still to this day is unanswerible ^-^. When I used to watch this cartoon I too asked that question and to this day I still punder that lol.

Also this show would've been a lot more watchable with an overall plot. That way, at the end of the series there could be an ultimate enemy that even Bowser, or King Koopa, or whoever the hell he is, would help to kill.

Totally agree it's like a bizarre reggae number that doesn't fit with the tone of the show, or any show for that matter. Some songwriter collected a cheque under some false pretenses back in 91!

Why didn't they keep that kind of animation for the cartoon... the intro is the only thing about it that doesn't have any errors and the characters are drawn better...
