Jack, I made this for my mom(because moms deserve it too!), but used hot salsa. The heat was less than you'd get dipping a chip in mild salsa, almost negligible actually. Does the heat of the salsa make a difference?

I am a chick and I can saw most of the tips are spot on.. Guys who're covered in axe at dinner really make it kinda unpleasant. The one thing is though, if you have onions and garlic, it doesnt matter as much if she eats the same thing cause you'll both have it on your breath and not really notice it.

Until she sneaks off to brush her teeth or has a mint and then you're fucked (and we almost always will), so I guess the point stands

If your under 21 then mix 7 up with orange juice on ice. If your over 21 then either white or red wine. Ironically, the chicken should get a white wine, but the salsa on the chicken can cross it over to a red wine. Either will taste great.
