The panel is my edit of the PMDG 737.

My advice would be ...just buy the PMDG 737.

I just landed at Skiathos (the European St Maarten) in a XL 738...superb!

For the wing view I use the FS Recorder VC view.

Erm...In my 738 the wing view is a panel view not a VC view as I said previously.

In my XL 738....I took a photo myself from the cabin window (during a real XL flight) and made it a panel view.

FS Recorder VC view is more flexible.

Hey ed i was just wondering how is it that you are able to talk back to the game instead of pressing a corresponding buttn for e.g 1 might say tune such and such freq. But what u simple do is just talk..how do u do that?

I cannot talk back in the game. What I did was when editing the video I edited out the Captains ATC voice and replaced it with my own.

In other words ..post production.

Simply talking to ATC is some way off...unless you use VATSIM of course.

I was just wondering something about altitude rules. You started in Europe, which has RVSM rules but you ended in Africa which has ICAO. Can you choose which method you use or does your altiude have to agree with both of them?

It doesn't. This is my Pimgee panel edit. It has a lot of custom gauges in it made by myself.

Hmmm the paint. It's a long story. The model is an old one by Ariane. I have never liked Ariane as a company. I have always felt that they were interested in money and nothing else.

The fact this model is not available anymore is just part of it. They want you to pay for substandard paints etc etc.

However I like the old model and as difficult as it is to paint I still do for my own use. I have no interest in promoting Ariane.

Fly your own way?. Definitely not. If you want to learn to fly you must RTFM. You must learn about the characteristics of each aircraft even though most are similar. When I was learning the most important thing I learnt IMHO is what the landing weight of your aircraft should be.

I always fly with real weather, the correct fuel weight (fuel planning or a fuel planner is a must) and the correct set of charts. That's fair amount of work right there...but for some strange reason...I love it!.
