The death of rita is a message for us to understand the idea of karma. People might agree with dexters psychopathy on criminals but murdering people will eventually lead to the death of innocent people. Like prado's brother in season 3. The whole series is about life & death. All life is precious, those you terrorize the life of others need to be removed from society and put elsewhere.

But Dexter was on to him, and Dexter blew his cover big time. Trinity knew Dex was coming for him so he hit at Dexter first. Why would Elliott kill Rita using Trinity's method? What motive would he have anyway? He was in love with her.
3rd Rock from the Sun regularly shows on Hits, so sometimes I watch it if it happens to be on, mostly because of Joseph Gordon-Levitt who I started to like after seeing 500 Days of Summer (and now Inception, wow!). When I heard Lithgow was going to be on Season 4, I laughed, but then seeing him on Dexter made my mouth drop open. From a guy talking to his pet sock to a man murdering a woman in the bathtub. He gave me the friggin' chills... Really great acting from him. Lithgow is amazing. :)

The great thing about Dexter is he's a serial killer who is having all these very human emotions- it's the monster v. the humane, but it's coming into the 5th season now and I think Dexter should go darker. I'd also love to see a season where he's on the run
@sclman well he won the highest honor you can win at the emmy especially as a guest actor on a show. Season 4 was freaking brilliant my second favourite overall (and I thought season 3 would be after Smits amazing performance but Lithgow was a totally different animal) but I will always have a special place in my heart for season 1 because I never expected Rudy to be Brian Moser. I did call him as the ice truck killer right when I saw him but not as Dexter's biological brother.

I love it. Viewers like me appreciate that. You stop identify the real persons with the characters for once . Not a bad thing at all! It is important.IExplains how much work and effort not just the actors put in this. You get a bigger understanding about how the plots are developed and how twisted they can be to the point even the actors get creeped out by the characters they play.

trinity was more clever and better at the job than dexter. I think it is because he knew how to manage his family and other commitments easily. Dexter was far to stressed, tired and fed up with people constantly pestering him.

@comcool500 he has got lucky though. He got caught by Doakes, and only managed to get away with it. And he was lucky getting Doakes framed, because Doakes found his blood slides, and went to get them tested, and it somehow got pointed to him.
Dexter is good but he has got extremely lucky on various occasions. Trinity didn't even look like getting caught. It was his daughter that eventually fucked everything up for Trinity lol But I see your point.

I think Trinity should have completed his ritual before leaving, and killed Cody, that would have went with the story a lot easier, and you could understand the reason for him killing Cody because he looks to be about 10 years old. Would have been a good ending.

@sclman well he won the highest honor you can win at the emmy especially as a guest actor on a show. Season 4 was freaking brilliant my second favourite overall (and I thought season 3 would be after Smits amazing performance but Lithgow was a totally different animal) but I will always have a special place in my heart for season 1 because I never expected Rudy to be Brian Moser. I did call him as the ice truck killer right when I saw him but not as Dexter's biological brother.

I love it. Viewers like me appreciate that. You stop identify the real persons with the characters for once . Not a bad thing at all! It is important.IExplains how much work and effort not just the actors put in this. You get a bigger understanding about how the plots are developed and how twisted they can be to the point even the actors get creeped out by the characters they play.
Sadly: The picture is out of focus and the sound is a bit bad. I wonder if stuff like this will be on the DVDs?

trinity was more clever and better at the job than dexter. I think it is because he knew how to manage his family and other commitments easily. Dexter was far to stressed, tired and fed up with people constantly pestering him.

@beprepared24 Thats why Dexter still haven't got caught yet and no one still suspects that he kills people but trinity the police is looking for him and a retired FBI agent was hunting him down I think Dexter is better then Trinity since it seems like he can do this all his life and still haven't got caught yet but never know if he makes a big screw up and the police finds out and it does seem like his sister and the police are getting closer and closer

@comcool500 he has got lucky though. He got caught by Doakes, and only managed to get away with it. And he was lucky getting Doakes framed, because Doakes found his blood slides, and went to get them tested, and it somehow got pointed to him.
Dexter is good but he has got extremely lucky on various occasions. Trinity didn't even look like getting caught. It was his daughter that eventually fucked everything up for Trinity lol But I see your point.

they both are gr8 actors, their interpretation of the character was terrific and too real for me that if i see them on the sidewalk i would be horrorfied like D: "omfg im gonna be killed"

Man....thats just fucked up. It could have and i still believe should have been different. I think Trinity should have completed his ritual before leaving, and killed Cody, that would have went with the story a lot easier, and you could understand the reason for him killing Cody because he looks to be about 10 years old. Would have been a good ending.
