No offense, but you need to get facts first before you try to review these kaiju movies. It appears not a lot of research went into these reviews. By the way, you're callin Zedus, Raiga. Thats the picture you have on the opening title page. Zedus is from Gamera the brave. "G or G-Project" as you refer to it is called Negadon: Monster from Mars. It was a short independant movie. Also Hedorah and Destoroyah actually had 4 forms each. Don't mean to discourage you.

G8 is a comedy, buddy. Also, it's a Shochiku thing, as in not Gappa, not Gamera, and not Godzilla. There has only been one Shochiku monster so far, so if you want Guilala to fight, there has to be a new one.
Also, Gehara is meant as an homage, as in G and Negadon, and they are supposed to be triggering memories of the earlier films. Done in a comedic manner, this allows the filmmaker to pay tribute to his influences while avoiding a lawsuit. Another word for this you might of heard is parody.

When are these movies going to be released on dvd? I don't care if they are released on region 2 or 3 either. I have all-region players. Must have these in their original language with English subtitles. Seem like some fun Kaiju films. Not interested in "Monster X Strikes Back".And whatever happened to "Pulgasari"?

About Godzilla, there is another movie coming sometime in the future, apparently this year. It shows Godzilla battle with an alien/hedorah like creature called Deathla. Unfortunatley, Banno is directing it!
They are doing it to protect Godzilla's image. If they are too lax, an idea develops that Godzilla is not something to be taken seriously, just a generalization open to everybody for public use. Of course, suing G-fan is obsessive, but suing the pants off of Subway and Comcast is really a good idea. I mean, good if you don't want assholes ripping on stuff they don't understand.
What got me interested was the name Monster X!I thought it was Monster X from Godzilla Final War.The trailer just killed my moment.Anyway nice review.Really Enjoyed it!

Gehara was SUPPOSED to be stupid...like a spoof or parody of Monster movies.
Although, I do agree with one thing. Instead of Monster X, they should have brought back Gappa the Triphibian Monster.

X from outer space is already in Dub In English,
and Monster x strikes back is in Japanese with English Sub.
