WOW. I didn't even know David Cook's version of "Billie Jean" was used in the Olympics (didn't watch it this year; I'm a Summer Olympics person). Thanks. I've heard some other songs/tour performances. In a few we hear it (Lie, Permanent), but mostly production covers up his voice. The post-Idol album singles don't compare vocally to "Billie Jean," though "Time of My Life" shows some of it (no comment on lyrics). His pre-Idol tracks were better. Not sure I understand why, but I just wish I could hear his voice more like here. (While it's a Davis/White dance, since DC's song is used I guess it's appropriate to comment about it!)

What i love about davis and white is that they not only skate beautifully as one with the music, but they become one with the characters they are portraying. For example, in their free dance, they become the phantom and christine. In the beginning, you can see sometimes christine skates away from the phantom, and the phantom chases her. then in the music of the night section, christine is no longer afraid of the phantom and finally at the end, they become one.

Beautifully danced & choreographed! I have to say though, that I am especially impressed with their choice of songs! The first time I saw this & heard that unmistakably stunning voice of David Cook, I was so thrilled!

They also chose this routine for their exhibition skate at the Vancouver Olympics. AND... NBC used David's song "Heroes" for a segment honoring the accomplishments of Bode Miller.
