I don't want to demystify these wonderful videos, but can you give a hint on the sophistication level of editing one needs and as to what software you used? Is VirtualDub able to do something like that?
Really great video... Very good composition. I am surprised you are originating at 640x480. Someone ought to give you a high-resolution video camera (high-level HD at the very least) as you are clearly talented and have a very good eye for a great shot. A super-high-resolution digital stills camera would allow you to do more with your pans, and also output an HD version.
Another wonderful bit of timelapse Edinburgh. Have you tried selling this to VisitScotland or the official Edinburgh Christmas organisers? Cause you really should...
Very nicely done. I love the way you have edited it together. You have inspired me to try some new stuff, I never thought of that as a way to do a pan. I liked the birds.
Very nicely done. You have inspired me to try and do some more stuff. I never thought of that as an approach to panning but that is a great idea. What was your interval between shots?

Very nice! My favourite part is the ferris wheel with the ice skating in the background. How did you do those pans and titls while the time lapse was in progress? Did you enlarge the frame in post and then pan it there?
Thanks for making comment. The pan is done in virtual dub. If you shoot your timelapse in 640*480 and the viewing area is 640*360 then you have 120 to play about with . Not easy to explain to a while to work out how to do it. Thanks
Is this Edinburgh?
