  • Is this Edinburgh?

  • very interesting video... strange yet irresistible.

  • i went there on christmas eve a couple of years ago and we went on the bungie jumping and more!

  • wonderfull wonderland

  • There was such a whimisical quality to it. I am so subscribing to you. Thank You for being such an amazing artist.

  • Is this music Scarlatti's sonata?

  • Yes it is.

  • Funny Thanks

  • i love the angles you shot at

  • nice

  • Wonderful! With what kind of camera do you make these?

  • any old digital camera will do this, just requires a lot of patience...and a tripod

  • I don't want to demystify these wonderful videos, but can you give a hint on the sophistication level of editing one needs and as to what software you used? Is VirtualDub able to do something like that?

  • hi, contact me at bluehanzproductions i could lend you hd camera and talk about other projects. chrisgreendog - bluehanz

  • Great video.

Some real nice subject matter. Thanks for creating.

  • Superb! and I live here!! lol

  • Really great video... Very good composition. I am surprised you are originating at 640x480. Someone ought to give you a high-resolution video camera (high-level HD at the very least) as you are clearly talented and have a very good eye for a great shot. A super-high-resolution digital stills camera would allow you to do more with your pans, and also output an HD version.

  • Great stuff, and excellent to see your work has been recognised in the wider media. Look forward to the next one!

  • Another wonderful bit of timelapse Edinburgh. Have you tried selling this to VisitScotland or the official Edinburgh Christmas organisers? Cause you really should...

  • The ferris wheel CU at night was spectacular!

  • Interval between shots< they were recorded at 1second intervals

  • Very nicely done. I love the way you have edited it together. You have inspired me to try some new stuff, I never thought of that as a way to do a pan. I liked the birds.

  • Very nicely done. You have inspired me to try and do some more stuff. I never thought of that as an approach to panning but that is a great idea. What was your interval between shots?

  • Very nice! My favourite part is the ferris wheel with the ice skating in the background. How did you do those pans and titls while the time lapse was in progress? Did you enlarge the frame in post and then pan it there?

  • Thanks for making comment. The pan is done in virtual dub. If you shoot your timelapse in 640*480 and the viewing area is 640*360 then you have 120 to play about with . Not easy to explain to a while to work out how to do it. Thanks
