no way man, how can you say somehting like that. Regardless if both runners had fresh legs, EL G is still the faster kicker, and would have out kicked bekele. I do agree if the race would have been even 1000m longer that bekele would be the better man on any given day over EL G. but any race between 1200 and 5000m, belonged to EL G durinng his time.

Dude i meant back when el g was running... anyways Personally i think that Bekele will never be beaten as long as he keeps running and stays healthy. THe man is a god on the track and is a good sport. Bekele and Haile Gebresilassie are to class acts, besides being amazing atheletes they also have world class sportsman ship.
