Dare I even publicly admit it? It never occurred to me to stretch the balloon to get more length, so the hat could have more height over the top. Duh - for me.

In fact, the more I realize I'm putting up here on YouTube, the more I think I should be taking videos down. I really am posting more information up here than I think should ever have been shared. Either way... I am going to continue to keep my fingers crossed that I can still make a living with this in a few years...

how do you make your large ship or noah's ark?

@yourballoonman I would use 240s for a ship (prestige brand i think) anyway 350 qualitex would be fine

@yourballoonman LOL I don't think I ever made a ship After 27 years of tieing balloons I just improvise a ship it is so Big a Ship I just would use 350s in my improvising LOL give me a couple days to get some fresh balloons I look forward to doing some tieing with you
