  • thanks to the population boom and urban sprawl this will soon be in the past

  • Elgar deserves respect purely for being inspired by Worcester. I'm from Worcester and think it is an absolute dive, some of the worst people live here =P haha

  • haha

  • calthekiller, as to your last few words, you're proof of that. Worcestershire is a beautiful country, only you're too thick to see it. Now piss off to Ibiza with all the other knuckle-dragging trolls.

  • @calthekiller "some of the worst people live here." You mean people similar to you?

  • Today this video appeared in the box: "Recommended to you"

I have missed this video before! Thanks to this excellent feature of YouTube!!

  • This viedeo made me cry in the part of Nimrod. It's really very beautiful! I'm currently trying to make a video on some parts of Argentina (my country), if you'd like to check in about two weeks my page, anjulirobin, I'd be very pleased. Many thanks!

  • Beautiful, thank you nankipoo, it is good to be reminded of the beauty of Elgar's music and the English "countryside" - please note how is is spelled, what you wrote could be misinterpreted.

  • loved it ...thanks

  • This is what music and the countryside is all about. Elgar squeezes out all the emotions from the vistas.

  • Ahh wow, I live about 10 minutes from Malvern, where Elgar was born. I've seen his house and everything. And that statue by the road and cathedral, that's right next to where I go to college. Oo, great shot of the Malvern Hills, needless to say some of my favourite walks up there :)

  • His birthplace is very close to the plough in lower broadheath.

And I have seen him with a cone for a hat many many times.

  • It is indeed! I've never seen the cone hehe, however, on the other statue, the new one actually in Malvern, I've seen a cigarette in his hand hehe

  • I think Sir Edward would have laughed at the Cone and approved of the cigarette!

  • Haha, I certainly hope so!

  • A beautiful part of England, whatever changes politically and socially may occur long may this green and pleasant land endure.

  • Beautiful countryside (about 20 miles from where I was born). Look closely at the pictures of Elgar. At first glance he looks like a retired army officer. But if you look closer, he looks more sensitive and vulnerable.

  • its odd Elgar fits in perfectly with my screenplay ta very much

  • A great video. Very atmospheric.

  • Very Beautiful video. Thank you very much

  • Wonderful Elgarian video. Thanks.
