@42Teo at this point in his life, he thought he would turn into a superstar actor but it didnt work out that way. he was very good in this movie however. but haht was the high point and he soon went back into singing.

this movie is just a masterpiece and the way u have put this together with the 1940's music----benny goodman??---it almost brings tears to my eyes reminding me of when i saw it first in 1971 and fell in love with it. seen it maybe 25-30 times. it was the music that first got me but then all that happened after...
