  • Ok thank you very much for clearing that up for me. I just ordered a red one and I am super excited! Sadly shipping will take 18 days :(

  • @iPwnisher I hope that it is not having to fly all the way. Seems a long time to wait, but know that the wait, will be worth it. :)

  • I seem to remember, I did do a charge. It was fresh out of the box, given a charge, flown, with a bit of stuff being done before filming. No crashes and then after a charge a bit more.

It could be as the batteries were new and there had been no conditioning done, that later on they would have held more charge. Hope this sorts your question.

  • Hi, I'm wondering if this entire video was done on a single charge. Am I right or did you have to stop the video to charge it?

  • You have a killer backyard. Very nice.. Wanna adopt me?

  • @DroogInPhoenix I am glad that you like it. My Mrs. thinks it should be better. She can only just look after me. So may have to decline you offer of being up for adoption. Have a Great New Year.

  • As I have said, this was as it was out of the box, with me being new to using any control system. So if I can do this on the first time, it shows how easy it was. Now over a year later, I should get round to doing another, with the camera following the Heli around to show how well it can be controlled. I did write an answer to this on Christmas Day, but for some reason on my iPad, it has gone of into the ether

  • so stable, that it just boring.

  • @MrMtnbuilder I had some of the original small helicopters when they first started making them, made of foam, unstable, crashes... It has come a long way.. Boring no, not frustrating, yes.

  • I wonder if it is possible that you are getting an infra-red signal from somewhere? For it to happen to two of them should rule out fault on one. There is not a beam of sunlight etc. causing something. Keep on flying and post if you find an answer. All the best for Christmas and enjoy if you get an s107 in your stocking. dave20thmay

  • Hey, I have the syma s107g. Problems started after I charged heli and put new battiers in transmitter.the thing will fly great for about 1 or 2 minutes then just drop to the floor. start right back up for 1 or 2 minutes then drop to the floor again.seems like it is loosing the signal from the transmitter.I bought a second s107g because I wanted to see if it was just a fluke on the first one.the second s107g did the same as the first.can anyone give me an idea as to what might be happening.

  • mine goes like this, watch?v=0oa6p454Xg4 sumtimes when fully charged, it takes like a minute to get it going well

  • Glad that you have enjoyed the video. It is fun to see the views. Just wish that I had the time to do a better film of it flying, now that I'm more used to it. :D

  • Thanks for the helpful video

  • I can only imagine that one of the three channels has not been set right. So try all the settings on both the helicopter and the remote. If this is not fixing it. I would look at going to the shop, with the helicopter and trying it out there. Hope that you are soon up and flying :D

  • My controller broke so i bought a new one, the new one turns on but its not controlling the helicopter, its not doing anything pleasse help

  • @XDrizzell93 Try changing the channel switches on the remote and the helicopter. Hope that it is because they are not on the same frequency. That you are not able to communicate from the controller to the craft. Regards dave20thmay

  • NEED CHEAP SYMA S107 SPARES????

EBAY OR EBID IS THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO FIND SPARES. MUCH CHEAPER THAN AMAZON.

  • Should the tail blades and their metal pin come all the way out of the tail rotor? My heli will hover great, but won't fly forwards or backwards. The tail motor makes a screeching sound when I try to make it fly forwards or backwards with the remote control. I'm wondering if the tail rotor is broken. Any suggestions?

  • @dmh232 Hi. It does seem that you have a problem. I would look at replacing the tail rotor motor, as it seems the armature is loose or misplaced. Unless you can see a way of fixing it. I have a feeling that these parts are not expensive and should be easy enough to fit. Hope you get it sorted soon and start enjoying this playful little copter. ;D

  • That is extremely steady - looks incredible! Thank you for the video

  • @RDProductions1001 It is all due to the gyro, I have not a clue as to what type or even where it is, but it sure does work.

  • @ldpask It is a great little helicopter. But there are a lot of Helicopters out there. With luck I'll get round to trying a few soon. HoneyBee of Blade are the next type that I wish to try. Dave

  • mine will not lift off any sugestions

  • @peyton181997 I assume that it does fly, if it does not take off, would it not be best to return it. Something that I would have a try at, is lubricating the main drive shaft gears, with a light white grease and maybe a drop of oil in the top of the two shafts. As you can see in the comments this has been bought up. Hope that you soon have in flying right. :D

  • i have crashed this a gazillion times n it still runs like a beuty syma makes rely good products, not good, VERY GOOD

  • Great video, thankyou

  • @shredicon86 Glad you like it. :D

  • im getting this for christmas!!!

  • @cazgoroth I know that you will enjoy it, my video was taken the first time I'd flown one, having just got it out the box. Have a Good Christmas and A Great New Year. :D

  • Was that full throttle the time? I have a diff heli and it falls to the ground after about 3 min if you dont have it full throttle

  • @peroxidal We have experienced this with the ones that we have. I thought that it was the pot in the controller not wiping fully and sending a wrong signal to the heli. Another of my friends thinks that he can hear the main drive gears binding and so sapping power to the lift props. Perhaps a light oil on these gears may help. If I get to the bottom of the heli dropping out of the sky, I post a reply here. :D

  • Great video, I have a couple questions if you don't mind answering...

    1. How high do you think this could fly up to?

    2. Does the right control knob move front and back and side to side? Or could you move it in a circular motion?

    BTW Nice House!

  • @mmz77 Thank you for the nice mail, Outside on a still evening, I could fly it up above the house. If I was still at work and flying it in the Jumbo Hangar, I would say 40 ft. It can't be said to fly sideways as such, but it can go round it circular or square if you want. The house has been a lot of work, by both of us, but is a pleasure to be in.

    Regards David

  • I am awaiting the delivery of my S107 this week.

Any way the house and the backyard is quite similar to be British! am i correct?

  • @chamindar2002 Yes it is in the Camberley area. Enjoy your helicopter when you get it. If you have an iPhone you can charge the helicopter with it. or from the usb socket on the computer. Charging from the Controller runs the batteries down, so better just to leave them to just be used for the infra red :D

  • Прикольная игрушка. Я купил ребенку на новый год! Надеюсь понравится.

  • @fomichev74 Hope that you have said something good. Regards David

  • @dave20thmay

Russian to English translate, he said:

Cool toy, I bought a baby for the New Year! I hope enjoy it.

  • @AustinAkens1 That is nice, thank you for the translation. Danka

  • @dave20thmay

No problem, and thanks for the video! Nice flying.

  • Hi Dave , good video .

I have had my S107 for a few days but for some reason I can not make it go backward and forward .I am following instructions using the right control lever but all it does is spin it around .

    Any advice please ????

  • @andrewwright99999 Glad that you like the video. This weekend I will be doing a better one. Of course to get the Copter moving back or forward the tail prop has to spin up. One direction will push the tail down, so making it fly backwards and the other way to lift and fly forward. Is your rear motor spinning the prop? and is it set vertical, when you sight it from the back? Other than that, can't imagine what the problem will be. :D

  • @andrewwright99999 I notice that you have sent another mail. Yes it is the right lever that controls the tail rotor. Hope that yours is spinning. In flight it is hard to see the rotation, so hold it and operated the lever to check that the rotor goes in both directions. :D

  • This RC Helicopeter look Awsm!

  • @Dvidps4 Hi David. It is awesome! Hope to soon post a better video, as in this one, it was the first time I'd flown one. Now with practice, I can do better.

  • Now that's a great video. I was on the fence about purchasing one of these, but it looks like I'll be ordering one soon. Thanks for sharing.

  • @rcplaytime1 Thanks for your comment. I like to make the video's look good. Regards :D

  • HI i just got one and on hoovering it always seam to roll backwards. any idea how this could be trimmed ?

  • @thefrost12345 Is the rear horizontal prop, going round by any chance. If it is not and there is nothing else that would make it tail heavy, then I can't think what the problem would be with yours. Regards :D

  • @thefrost12345 the center of gravity is off its heavier aft of the help - you probably need to remove the tail stabilator thingy and it will be fine
