  • Well I just read that a recent review that gave the movie 4 out of 5 stars. I'm guessing this track has a lot to do with that :) go Michael!

  • @TheJustincase4 Where do you read this review?

  • @luke19905 well just search "john carter review" in google and it's like the second or third link down where it says "Another JOHN CARTER review gives the film 4/5". It didn't let me paste the link here, but hope you find it.

  • @TheJustincase4 Thanks, I found it! ;-)

  • This theme music is both stirring and chilling. It most certainly does NOT sound like John Williams' theme for RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK except that it does use some horn music.

  • This is just breathtakingly exquisite in its epic scope, beauty, and grandeur.

  • When I hit 0:50 of this song, it sounds very familiar.

  • @reownergames I really love this but as a few people noted this is reminiscent of Marion's Theme from Raiders Of The Lost Ark by John Williams.

  • @arweiss100 this doesn't sound like that one

  • The true story of man... to die twice before eternal life.

  • This is the one of the most beautiful themes I've heard in recent times...great stuff....

  • I really like it but the theme really reminds me of Marion's love theme from Indiana Jones! The likeness is very noticeable, anyone else agree?

  • W Michael Giacchino!!

  • Fireworks...I'm looking forward to have it in my hands!

  • Wow.This is so much better than that crap he knocked off for Star Trek. Hopefully the film captures the wistfulness of this music. The first trailer really captured the dreamy yearning quality of the first novel.

  • That is a lovely theme and filled with longing. It's very reminiscent of the romantic leitmotifs of old school scores which, considering the source material, is perfect.

  • @aimelek I was just about to say that it reminded me of the classic scifi scores.

  • Sounds incredible.

Just heard this on recorded audition from "Movies on the Radio" and fell in love already.

There's still three months to go, but I'm ready.

  • What a great score, the very beginning sort of reminds me of a very early 1890-1910's western america.

  • the beginning of it, I cannot help but think of his passage between worlds

I feel his journey in the music

  • I ripped it from the radio program "Movie On The Radio" of the issuer WQXR, which yesterday presented three pieces from the Giacchino score.

  • @luke19905 thank you for sharing it, I've been waiting for this movie for a long time. Michael Giacchino sounds top class with this.

  • @luke19905 do you have anymore you can upload except just the three?

  • @reownergames I still can not. Sorry.

  • @luke19905 but you have them though?

  • @reownergames Unfortunately I have nothing more ... :/

  • how did you get this?!
