You do photo shoots? That means, you are a model for photos in magazines? Is that something new for you, or was that the case all along? Just curious.

Hey just a quick addition to tools... LashGrip (a brand of eyelash glue) conveniently comes in a black colored glue (the actual color of the glue is gray then dries black which I've found works great with pin up makeup since most use black eyeliner to start... hope that helps! =)
Hey! That's a brilliant idea! I was using lashgrip but I am used to the kind that dries clear. THanks so much for the tip! I suppose they probably sell it at Sally's.
It's 'Surf Medley' by Junior Brown...one of the world's greatest guitarists, imo. When he sings, he sounds like Ernest Tubb but he can play like Hendrix. He's been dubbed 'Hillbilly Hendrix'. :)
ha, I wear this look often for everyday life as well. Except I sometimes wear a slightly more discreet lipstick, maybe like mauve.
People stare a lot, especially when paired up with a flashy 1940s do, but it makes me feel girly yet with air of elegance. Your hair tutorials have helped me a lot, thank you!
I just wanna say I love all your videos and when you said get ready to be noticed in public you couldn't be more dead on! I sport the red lipstick everyday and cannot describe how many stares I get haha
You look gorgeous! :) I had to giggle that you said this isn't an everyday look--I pretty much do this (sans the false lashes) on a daily basis! lol. I guess I'm just a glamor girl at heart.
Anyway, I was wondering if you could tell me how opaque the NYX pearl powder you used is? I've been eying those for awhile, but wasn't sure if they were sheer, or went on opaque...
Oh, don't get me wrong, love-I'm a glamor girl too. I just don't want people to think I'm in denial about the fact that it does age you some. But who cares, right? I actually wear this look for most events and all my evening dates. And definitely for photo shoots. On a typical day out, I tend to gravitate towards a dewy, lighter version of the look though.
The Nyx pearl shadows are very good quality. Buildable coverage. Applied wet, w/ a good brush...opaque.
Ahhh you are gorgeous! This is the best pinup makeup tutorial I've seen (and I've seen a million!) I have both NYX products you used, so I am trying this out stat! I've been debating on the Besame lipsticks for a while, but your vid has pushed me over the edge :P
Your comment makes me feel warm all over! I've seen a ton of great pin up girl tutorials too. My favorites are by Supervixen, Monroemisfitmakeup, Askmemakeup, and xsparkage. It's so flattering that you feel I can be grouped the best...:)
