@zuzulo56 That is not a joke. Eighty-something people lost their lives in that tragedy. It was not like a Mercedes flew off on its own on that sad day in 1955. An Austin veered in front of the Mercedes and proved to be like a ramp that caused the car to go airborne into the crowd.

I right-well know the incident you reference...but Because you apparently live in the MORE distant past that I, you failed to see (my fault for NOT being specific) that I was commenting of the 1999 MB LMP's flight off the Mulsanna Straight. Youngster, you mustn't allow your bias for the Mercedes motor car to cloud your ability to see history... a "real" "Wawiebeastman" wouldn't...there's a good lad! Cheerio!
@zuzulo56 Well, since this vid was shot in 1939, I assumed you were talking about historical events like the 1955 Le Mans disaster. But I also know about the Mark Webber somersault in 1999 also at Le Mans. But unlike in 1955, no one got hurt including Mark Webber. FYI, history is history. You can't change that. Its true I'm a fan of Mercedes racing. But not all the years they've competed are all champagne and glory. There were bad years too. My mind isn't "clouded" to realize those facts.
