so some reasons of the red ring is fliping the 360 when it's on don't do that!! turn it off w8 10 secs atleast and then flip it cuz it will screw up ur 360, any other is air circulation take it away from the walls and let it have air and last reason is that slow down on clicking when u c it have a loading sign in the browser or (menu) q8 for it to load cuz then it will just end up lagging if u get mad and can't w8 5 secs

OK. Now for all those people that don't understand german: This video is about the XBOX 360. You can see the heatsink (something for cooling) of the GPU (the Graphic Chip). Between the heatsink and the GPU should be something to get the heat from the GPU to the heatsink. But on it, there is some metall and so this could be the reason why the GPU gets to hot and the XBOX turn itself off.

Its not just Microsoft that leaves the foil on the heatsink .. Look at Intel heatsinks . They have the foil covering the Heatpad also . But I don't see anywhere in the heatsink /CPU install manual Where it says to remove the foil . Most peeps put the thermal compound right on the foil , not knowing there is a pad right underneth it .
