no, you cant over brake you dont drift, you just slide and stop. drifting requires a lot of movement between your hands and feet. you have to be able to switch from clutch to gas quickly (one of the ways to drift is to [if you have the right clutch]press in the clutch pedal), then you have to be able to switch gears and steer and grab the handbrake. its really a lot of work and a lot more than just pulling the brake and going for it.
