you dont need to use the d-pad use the analog stick -_-, also the button combo for fei long, ryu and kens etc ultra is the easiest to do.

i use the analog pad for soul calibur and tekken etc, but i just can't use it effectively for a 2d fighter like street fighter, i find the dpad easier - the ps2 dpad is no better either, i found the megadrive dpad was brilliant for street fighter 2 years ago

you use all three punch buttons for "ultra attacks". i've been playin SF4 since august here in houston but Fei Long and the others aren't in the arcade versions. but for pretty much all Ultra Attacks, instead of using on punc or kick button, you use all three. and its usually the same input as the regular "super attack"

mma isnt bullshit, but it isnt guaranteed to save you in a street fight thats for sure. however, there is no better foundation to have. its basically the test laboratory for fighting. while a tech might work on an untrained fighter, it wont necessarily work on one who fights for a living, and we are training to fight people who are skilled, not any old person off the street. you'll have to show me about the one inch punch being trained to the military. again, if its useful, why not in the ring?

good question, but there is no answer, because in order to know that, someone would have to fight EVERYONE to know for sure. between lee norris and ali, ill give it to ali, because his body is trained to go the distance, and he actually has. lee was in phenomenal shape and powerful for his size, but was never realy tested. norris...well his tears can cure cancer, but he never cries!!

the one inch punch is a demonstration of lees ability to generate power in a short distance. he demonstrated it on a PASSIVE OPPONENT. bruce lee respected grappling so much he enrolled his son with gene lebell's wrestling. for all the bruselee worship that goes on, there is an amazing amount of faulty information about him being spread around.
