This also reminds me of the trick my daughter's friends played on one of the teachers in the high school. They had a dog chewed blackberry that was identical to the one the history teacher had. So while her back was turned they sneaked her's into her drawer and put the chewed up one on her desk. You can imagine what her face looked like when she turned around and saw what she thought was her blackberry. I think they caught it on video but I was not able to get a copy of it. (darn).
You need to watch this video to the very end and really listen to what the teacher has to say in the last half minute of the video. It's quite a lesson for the other students.
When I was in grade school, the teacher took away my marbles because they were making noise in my pocket. Later in the day I asked to go to the rest room so he gave me he hall pass, big mistake. I went to his car smeared dog crap on the door handle and keyed his paint job.
I really hope this was staged... If it was, then bravo for preventing texting in class. If it wasn't, and he just destroyed my phone, I'd take that hammer to the asshole's car. It's a goddamn COLLEGE class! If someone wants to text, miss important info and thus fail the class, that's their business as long as it doesn't interfere with the prof's lecture and doesn't prevent students from learning. Going as far as to destroy their property is nuts! If that was real, he should buy him a Droid Razr.
@tsb5tom I'm in college right now, and most of my professors couldn't give a shit if we texted or not. Some of them do, but for the most part they really don't care.
