and just look at the graphics in the HW series. they may be over 10 years old, and they may not have the latest shader technology and advanced lighting...but how can anyone say these game do not still look amazing!?

@hyperdude144 Only fighters, corvettes, and resource collectors can kamikaze. Though, the computer managed to ram a heavy cruiser into my mothership. Sometimes you can force a capital ship to ram another by ordering it past the target, then ordering them to make a sharp turn, and sometimes they'll swing right into them.

Hey I never said the game sucks. I loved homeworld and thought it was one of the best games ever made! Would never get bored of it

No it doesnt, eve sucks. Its a boring and dumb mmorpg, Yahtzee pretty much said all the things i thought when i tried it.

Most MMORPG´s and also Eve dont require a bit of brain. They require you to learn the game and all the controls nothing else. Even an ape can do that if you feed him bananas for doing so.

nestalga fuckheads can suck my balls. Yeah, the games 10-20 years ago were great, but for some reason, they just cant cope with the fact that good games still do come out.

Or "new" on old, forgotton alien race, dedicated for annihalation of entire galaxies because they are so shy, even a strange eye needs to be destroyed to forgive their own insanity of innocense... :P

@Unitronus I agree, just because it's "old" doesn't mean it's outdated. more and more people are turning back to older titles anyway, because the newest stuff is unoriginal, unchallenging and basically boring.

The Homeworld series is from an era of gaming just before developers began exclusively targeting the "casual gamer". none of the new games dare challenge gameplayers these days, that's why 10 year old classics like Homeworld and Starcraft are better than modern stuff.

lol cuz u know killing the computer in scout madness is hard as hell XD..

and pressing z isnt considered cheating online. pressing f2 , f3 or f4 what ever you prefer, telling them to attack enemy fighters pressing then hitting K, then mashing z is considered cheating. for all of you who have played the game, u know what kinda shanghais that button combo does.

No someone else made this map. I made the double scout madness (the one with 160) if you remember. Cant remember who made this map but he gets a lot of credit for it,
